I purchased this kit for a velvet headboard that I bought that was antique . As I was using my handheld steam cleaner it made the velvet tear . I didnt want to upholster the headboard as it had buttons in it to create that diamond effect creating beautiful pleats . My husband said i think they have powder or some kind of kits that fix this kinda thing . I was sure he was imagining such a thing that did not exist . I looked it up and guess what ? This kinda thing does exist . So I ordered it and thought wow this is amazing . You use the primary colors given in kit to create the color you have . This is like futuristic stuff here . Good for sofas and much more . Now I can feel so much better about my furniture knowing I have help . Replacing or reupholstering stuff is sometimes more costly than the item itself . I would suggest you buying this kit for 911 purposes lol keep it with toru first aid kit . Children ? Pets ? Then you need this kit . Will update with pictures after im finished with headboard . The customer service is amazing . They even reached out asking if I need help with my kit . In todays economy customer service that is excellent is very rare . So make sure to support those who hold customer satisfaction as a priority ! This is that kind of company ! Oh and this kit has given me some great ideas for future use ! Order one today you will be so glad you did .

Works as well as following directions and being patient with matching colour. You don’t need to be a pro but your eye know when you’ve nailed it. Make sure to really clean area. Once it was dried it really did blend in extremely well. The last pic was only 30 min after application.

this kit works, but one minor drawback. when the glue dries, the color ends up being one shade darker and its because of the glue. other then that its fine for repairs but obviously its DIY and won't be perfect.

Nice to be able to mix color to a near perfect match. If I was a bit more patient, I would be able to get a perfect match. It works better and easier than I thought it would. Great product.

What I liked about this repair kit was how easy it was to use the materials included and to fix the issue I was having. My couch looks wonderful. The pictures does no justice for the real life version. The camera disorients the coloring of the couch and the repair. My couch is navy blue. In person, you could hardly tell where they're was a hole. Customer service was attentive and available at all times. This is a great way to repair upholstery besides just fabric glue because you are using actual fibers which I believe is a better way to blend the hole. Not only does this kit help you with what you're working on but gives you future project repairs if needed. This is great to have handy in your home. I'm so glad I came across this kit.

This carpet repair is so easy and good! But my only critic is that it's not enough glue But everything else work perfectly.

This product arrived as it was described by seller. Fairly straight forward process of using the product. Just have to take your time trying to blend the colors to get close to what you need. Nothing would be perfect but this does a pretty good job of repairing an eye sore in the carpet so it's not noticeable.

The kit was easy to use you just had to follow all instructions and the repair is brilliant. Would recommend this product if you need to repair fabric on a chair etc.

I had a small burn hole in microfiber couch. I was devastated and ordered this kit. I obsessed over this hole while waiting for the kit to arrive. I studied other people’s reviews and pictures and read about the excellent customer service this company has so I contacted them and sent them an email asking for advice on the repair. They answered my email within a day and gave their opinion. They started with advice on how to mix the color starting with gray and then adding brown. They advised cutting material larger than the hole and tucking it inside and under the edges of the hole. Because the hole was not burned into the cushion, I returned an email stating I thought that would cause more damage as the fabric was not pulling away from the cushion. They then advised inserting a tiny bit of cotton. Once I received the kit, I easily mixed the colors and practiced working with the flocking fibers on paper. I glued cotton to paper and tried the flocking on that. The color didn’t stick perfectly on the cotton then. I then tried the glue and flocking fibers on the paper. I wanted to see if I needed the cotton and wanted to see how hard the fibers and glue would dry. I felt that the fibers and glue alone would dry too hard and felt the hole needed to be filled with cotton. I used very little glue and inserted the cotton trying to stay just inside the hole (Picture above). I showed my friend who thought the cotton needed to be pushed in some to allow for the fibers. I let that patch sit overnight and carefully scraped a little cotton out making sure no cotton went over the edges. I then practiced tapping the fibers onto the cotton to check the color match and added a bit more brown a couple times. I then put a little glue on paper and used the tweezers to insert a tiny bit of glue in the hole and shook the fibers onto the hole. Gently, I patted the fibers onto the hole with the spatula and even dabbed the spot with my fingers until it looked good. I left the area to dry and within a couple hours (as my house is dry, winter, wood stove) I gently started brushing the fibers off knowing that it may not be completely dry. The patch looked good but it did appear that it needed to be filled in a touch more. I again repeated the process spreading a tiny bit of glue again and patting it with the spatula and lightly dabbing with my finger. I just did this repair today and will let it fully dry overnight and check the adherence of the fibers and see that a good patch tomorrow. I was very nervous about this repair. I recommend working slowly and thinking things through first. Carefully match the fibers in natural daylight. I found matching the color very easy. Go easy on the glue, you can alway repeat the process. The fibers did not darken with the glue for me as one person who did a review stated. The product was very easy to work with. I do not believe that patch will be hard or be felt. Some of the color containers arrived loose, be aware. Customer service was very helpful and gave me confidence as did my friend’s advice. I was happy with the price and would consider buying their other products.
