Very nice engine guards. Easy to install. Look great. Seem well made. I would recommend these if you are riding a Honda Shadow Aero. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I got the Cobra Freeway bar 01-1118B and it does not fit in my Honda Shadow Phantom because I found the controls are 4" forward, so it can be installed from the bottom side but never can be attached in the top because of the plates with holes to clamping re like 1" above the clam , the frame pipe goes from 1 1/4" to over 2 inches in the top side, even getting a custom clam using it you cannot reinstall the covers. I am desperate looking for any suggestion, no problem with the bar by it self it is ok, any suggestion please let me know

I'm the least mechanical man you could ever meet. This product is so easy to install I did it all by myself in about 25 minutes of work.Looks amazing. Really balances out the profile of the bike. I couldn't be happier.Fits my 2004 Honda Shadow Aero 750 like a glove.

Easy installation on my 2005 Honda Shadow Aero 750 CA. Looks great and I feel safer on slow speed turns and curves. Now I'm going to install fog lights on it for an even safer experience.

Got the crash bar for my 04 shadow aero and the dang thing had more scratch and chips in the chrome along with rust than my whole bike did.

Looks great and a perfect, perfect fit. Cobra did a great job engineering this. I would buy it again. The mounting instructions.....not totally perfect. If I had to install it again tomorrow on another Shadow, here is what I would do differently to make it easier..... After removing all the foot peg etc. bolts and ready for the bar, slide the bar under the bike and raise it up with either side of the bar resting against the left and right side of the engine cylinders, which is well behind the bar clamps you attached to the frame up near the radiator. As the instructions state, loosely insert the bolts through the bars and into the right and left foot pegs, which will loosely attach the bar to the bottom of the bike. Not even finger tight. Now, swing the bar assembly forward until the upper parts of the bar align with the clamps you've already attached to the frame near the radiator. Again, insert the four provided bolts (button head) into the two clamps, not even finger tight. This is much easier than trying to rotate the bar, as suggested, rearwards from between the front of the frame and rear of the front fender, to the clamp location. I also learned that while the left foot peg bolt is inside a tapped hole (no nut), the right foot peg bolt is attached by a bolt and nut. The left one came off first, nice and easy. The right of course barely spun no matter how much torque I put on the wrench. I though the bolt was stripped ... until I looked under and saw the nut. Duh! Oh yeah, I LockTited every bolt.

Fit great, had to reverse directions and place top aft of forks in order to install, but once that was done it was easy and looks/works great.
