I used this on my wife’s new suede coat. I was able to spray on three coats out doors it dried in about 30 minutes. Then let it dry overnight in the closet. There was a residual sent to it but it dissipated after a few hours. I’ve used other products but the valve for the money and quality of this product was a good choice

I like this protective waterproofing spray for my suede boots and shoes, and it works great AT FIRST, but it doesn't last very long, because a little does not go a long way. To spray it from the distance it recommends, you end up spraying more on your countertops than on your shoes. I will say, however, that it does not change the color or texture of my boots and shoes in any way, which is a good thing. In terms of stain resistance, it hasn't offered any protection from tiny dirt stains on the toe or heel areas. Overall, I would say you can buy this product knowing it won't harm or change your high-end shoes in anyway, but the protection it offers is mediocre.

Not only is this a superior product, but it also does everything it promises: keeps my nice leather, fabric and other shoes waterproof, which is exactly why I bought it. I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to not only keep their shoes looking new, but also prolonging the life of them.

I really wanted to get Ugg boots for the winter to keep my feet warm, but I was super worried about them getting ratty-looking since I live in New England. This spray solved this issue for me!The barcode sticker that I am assuming the Amazon warehouse placed, was placed directly on top of half of the directions so I wasn’t sure how many coats to do. I ended up following what I could see of the instructions exactly and did three coats!This spray works exactly as described for the water repellant, but I have not and hope not to test the stain repellant feature as well haha. Remember this is water REPELLANT spray, not waterproofing spray.
