The misses and i were out trail riding when her bike blew a tube (giggity) 7 miles from the truck. I popped in the spare tube and this little gadget worked flawlessly to re-inflate the tire and get us back on the trail. Its a simple, effective tool that I'll always carry in my spare parts and tools bag on the bike.

I have used this with 100% success for other riders needing air. It has worked on both valves with zero issues. I have to purchase more cartridges from giving them out to other riders needing air. Glad I have this and carry it with me. Easily packed in my Rock Brothers under seat saddle bag.

This CO2 bike pump is really handy for on the trail repairs or for getting a tubeless tire to properly seat on the rim (something that can be difficult to do with a standard bike pump even when not on the trail). The CO2 cartridges screw into the bottom of the nozzle. Unlike some other tools, no CO2 was leaked as the cartridge was punctured. You activate the CO2 by unscrewing a valve on the back of the tool. I think that this type of valve is a little less convenient than the trigger style valve but still worked without issue for me. I made the mistake of inflating my tire while using my bare hands to hold onto the metal cartridge and nearly got a frost burn. The kit actually includes a foam protector to prevent precisely this issue and I strongly recommend that you use it.
