How to Adjust the Transmission
- Change the front derailleur shifter to 1 and zero the trim bolt. There are really only two steps to adjust the front derailleur, one is to adjust the inner limit and the other is to adjust the outer limit.
- Adjustment of the inner limit: change the tooth disc to the smallest one and the flywheel to the largest one, check whether the inner chain guide is rubbing against the chain or whether the gap between the inner chain guide and the chain is too large, adjust the screw on the front derailleur to keep a distance of 1 to 1.5 mm from the chain, and tighten the front derailleur shifter cable.
- Outer Limit Adjustment: Shift the front derailleur to the largest disc, shift the flywheel to the smallest piece, and then check if the outer chain guide is touching the chain or the distance is too large, likewise, the screw on the front derailleur keeps a distance of 1 to 1.5 mm from the chain.

Was optimistic after reading the other reviews, great price and good promises. Arrived quickly was in good shape, easily installed and took a bit to tune (more than other derailleurs) but got it. Worked great for 1 ride. Then started going out of tune - skipping gears, phantom shifting and etc. Tuned it again and it worked for half a ride. Tuned it again and worked for a quarter ride and then I just got used to skipping problem gears. Then eventually it locked up solid and I took it off to see what was wrong. Back to the cheap construction: it had been bending all along (why it was out of tune so much) and this time the cage itself just bend over and thats what jammed the chain. So ya. Its great if you want something cost effective to put on but not so good if you actually want to use it to ride.Put back on my old derailleur (shimano acera) and it works so much better now, even with the cog wheels worn right to nothing. On the plus side, the bar shifter and cable provided havent broken yet. Not bothering to return as those parts work and its a "told myself so" lesson on trying a cheap derailleur. 2 stars cause, really what did I expect would happen?

Just get your chai.n at the smaller crank attach the cable with little tension.Shift and you on the go.

This is way out of spec and cheap made. The installation was easy but be prepare to spend lots of time trying to adjst it. If you are lucky you will get it to work but the low limit and the high limit screws will run out of adjustment and you will not accomplish to fine tunning for your shifter. Gears will skip at all times.Do not waste your time and money. Go with Shimano you will be satisfied...

Easy to install and works great. I had to take the bicycle to a professional to fine tune, other than that, I'm extremely pleased with the product.

The item is listed as being compatible with SRAM and Shimano and it's not. Most, if not all SRAM drivetrain components are on a 1:1 pull ratio and this shift lever says it's a 2:1 pull ratio deeming it incompatible

Works great looks great for the price its excellent, only complaint my original had a spring attachment so you can move the derailer far back to remove the wheel, this one doesn't move out of the way and you have to remove it to take off the rear tire

Beware: shifter is a 1:2 not 1:1, won't work with a lot of SRAM derailleurs.Also I found shifting to be too sensitive, easily shifts more than 1 gear at a time.
