These work really well for the price point. And they seem to be holding up well as I clean up a lot of bolts and threaded holes. I have already recommended these to one of my brothers. See the before and after pictures.

It’s a very small set, no need to build a case that needs wheels. Frustrating part is each piece has no markings so if they aren’t in the box no way to tell what the hell is what. Kinda a deal killer for me

this tool definetily helped solving my problem. My rear shock mount bolts were stripped and I couldn't tighten them. This tool really helped to restore the threads although it takes lot's patience and trying to get it the thread clean.

A loose wheel ended up depositing large amounts of aluminum from the rim (now ruined) before I could stop the car. M12x1.5 thread chaser in kit and a little oil and one time thread on and off completely cleaned the threads. Cleaned off the threads and tool with some degreaser and it was like it never happened.

I liked the price and quick delivery. No one in Edmonton seemed to have thread chasers on the shelf. I already had taps and dies, but I just wanted to clean up a cross-threaded bolt into an aluminum housing. Taps are too aggressive and the hole was shallow in depth. Luckily the smallest chaser in the set was the right pitch. Job done right and quickly.

Had to chase the chaser to clean them up, all the brass paint started to flake off making a mess, had 2 of the same thread pitch for the m10s, not sure if that was intention or just a mix up at the factory.overall serviceable tool for infrequent use

Used the M12x1.25 chaser to clean the threads on my 06 civic Si when installing rear camber arms. Saved my butt. Just make sure you oil up can chase each male with the female chase. This cleans the threads on both. I’d recommend to not use either without doing that first, it’s an absolute must.

I bought this set to chase threads after extracting bolts. It does what I need it to do and would recommend

Purchased this for our land rover 1996 discovery stripped the threads on the block for the thermostate sensor. after purchasing this we got it fixed in 30 minutes, could have been faster but didnt want to rush the process and possible destroy the block. after a few months threads are holding up and no coolant leaks! we just did a 1 time use with it, not sure how durrable it is if your using it daily/weekly.

used for exhaust manifold studs mounting holes. used cutting oil to preserve the life of the chaser and it definitely helped. treat it like any other tap or die and youll be just fine

They’re a decent value for the money but there’s one really important thing you should do first. You need to chase the threads of the males with the female thread chasers because they have nasty burrs on them from manufacturing. So there is potential to do more damage than good there. The takeaway: just make sure the chasers don’t have burrs. You’ll most likely notice when they don’t thread down clean threads.

i use these to retap worn threads in my Camrys X 4. I usea little super blaster when rethreading, cause taps and dies are hard to a point of being brittle, so a little oil helps keep the thread from getting clogged, and reduces friction
