Expensive but it works, although not as good as a taytools jig. Try Taytools - they have a better jig which allows you to use the mag-switch magnets on your tools without having to use two-hands to activate.

Cuts like butter. Very sharp and makes a very clean hole. Fantastic deal for sure.

This is a good bit if using it in a drill press with everything clamped tight. Using it in a drill will have the tendency to walk a little. Overall good bit for the price and it works perfectly for Harley Davidson poker chips!

I saw some rather negative reviews for this bit but for the price I thought I should make up my own mind. Any wood boring, or metal for that matter, require the proper rpm's for optimum performance and care for the tool(s) involved. A 40mm forstner bit chucked in a drill press running at 700 rpm's will heat excessively even boring into relatively soft wood. When sharpened and shaped metal is heated beyond tolerances it will expand and loose it's temper as well as it's edge. Find out what rpm's you should use before for the diameter of hole you're boring and for what material you're using it on and your tools will last a lot longer and your work will definitely benefit. Really please with the tool!

We were making a homemade Harley Davidson poker chip holder, of course they were mm. This bit worked perfectly, and they fit in there very snug, but with a hit on the back of the board they come out! Worked great!
