This mix has a strong odor, it's hard enough, cannot be considered as a paste. It was definitely returned by someone, who pushed the hard surface with his finger and made a hole, leading me to a conclusion, that when dries out it will become very hard and won't protect as it's supposed to do.

This product seems to be a rebranding of Grizzly Grease.I used that product for more than a decade. It was by far my favorite cup grease. All of the sudden it wasn't available and a year or two later this shows up on the market. It has the same pleasant smell, the same orange color, the same consistency and it seems like the same performance. The name is even better, Seal..Like a navy seal or stuck seal pup.I hope they make this for the rest of my life.

If you’re a gun nut and take care of them, you’ll love this stuff. It works great and lasts a long time. Another plus is that it smells good too.

So this is a US made CPL and that is already a plus in my book. I have different cleaning rituals, and sometimes CPL is the way to go. That is when you want to take half the cleaning time for the same protection. Some people swear by CPL only, but I am on the fence about all-in-one cleaners so when I need to do a deep clean I will take out the bore cleaner, gun oil etc.As far as this CPL is concerned, I am pleasantly surprised with it. There is no awful smell that usually comes with CPL cleaners. It is pretty easy to apply - either with a swap as you can see, or put some gloves on (this is a green product, but I would always put gloves on when you are working with products that take off lead, copper, and carbon build-up).Overall it works. You can run patches at the end and you will see that they are clean. Wipe away excess and you will see that the remainder is the protectant that will remain there. As far as keeping it clean, I took it to the range, and of course any residue of oil/cpl/place name of product here, will attract residue. Now the question is whether that residue will make your gun malfunction, because after 200 bullets, the firearm remained coated in the CPL. It would take something like a couple of thousand rounds to test this, and I am neither a person who hates my personal firearms, neither am I a person that can throw cash away if something were to break. So as it is, it is a good CPL - the rest, ymmv.
