This arrived just in time to use for my Evelyn O'Connell/Indiana Jones combo cosplay outfit. My kid has already tried to steal it to do 'Jack Ze Whipper' tricks... It is very soft and seems well-made for an inexpensive whip. To be honest, I have never owned one before so I'm not sure how it would do to crack over a team of horses but this seems like it'll do the trick for making me feel cool! Will possibly post pics after the Con. :D

I bought this for my son's Indiana Jones costume. It looked nice when we opened it, which I was hoping for since it was on the pricier side. I wrapped a velcro strap around it and attached it to his side. Within an hour, it began unraveling and it wasn't even being touched/used/manipulated in any way. It was just hanging there.

I got this as a costume prop for my grandson. After a few moments of playing with it, it began to unravel. I wrapped black tape around it to keep it together. Other than that, the whip was OK.
