This is quite a complete bike cleaning kit. If you haven't had your bike cleaned for a long time it's worth giving this a try. It is definitely on the expensive side - even at the current sale price - although I guess it's still half of what a bike shop would charge for a full cleaning. It comes with a bunch of tools - brush, cleaning cloth and sponge in addition to the more important stuff, the chain cleaner, bike wash and lubricant. The tools are not really necessary - I have plenty of rags and dish sponges and old toothbrushes that have always done the job fine, so if these items contributed to the high cost they should just not be included to make the price more reasonable. Anyway the chain cleaner did a good job, as well as the wash and the lubricant is essential after the deep cleaning. In hindsight, it might have been better if I'd rinsed the bike off first to make things easier and be more sparing on the cleaning liquids. So all in all, aside from the price tag, the kit did a great job (and the bucket makes it convenient to keep everything in one place).

I have several bikes, both street and mountain that I like to keep clean and maintained. This kit providesa degreaser, a wash and a lubricant as wells a scrubbing brush, sponge and two cleaning cloths. That's all the important stuff and it comes in a bucket that holds everything and can also be used to hold water for washing if you don't have a nearby hose.My experience with this kit:First I used the degreaser to clean my cassette and chain. I did not need to use the cleaning brush as I did not have a heavy buildup and the product worked well.Next I washed the bike using Natural Bike Wash which they say is biodegradable which is nice. It says to spray and spread the product on my bike then wait 5-10 minutes I sprayed the entire bike to include the tires. After 4 minutes the product started to dry and leave a residue, little white spots, so I used the wet sponge and the ended up spraying off the cleaner with a hose. Even after spraying the bike it still had some product residue but then I used the cloth they included to dry and remove the residual cleaner. I can't say it worked better than when I used car wash soap but it does work.The after the bike was fully dry I used the spray nano grade metal lubricant on my chain, cassette and derailleur . This product does the job.While I can't say these products work different from other products I have used I like that this CHEPARK Bike Cleaning Kit comes with everything you need to clean and help maintain your bike in one convenient package. If you don't maintain your bike and you want to start doing it ,like you should, this is the perfect starter set. It would also make a nice gift for someone who enjoys biking, especially in the dirt.

I own several bicycles and mostly only ride on the weekends. Most of my bikes are road bikes that don't get too dirty, so I seldom wash them at all. When I have washed them, I just hosed them off, and then cleaned/lubed the drivetrain. I found that to be sufficient.When I saw this kit, I decided to stop slumming it and try out "proper" cleaning supplies. All of it works fine, but I'm not convinced it's much better than my old cleaning with minimal supplies.First, the sponge comes vacuum sealed in a plastic package. The "CHEPARK" branding stuck to the plastic bag, and I think would slowly come off on your bike as you used it. Besides that, it's a thin sponge, and it works.The spray soap is a bit odd. I think you're just supposed to spray it on and wipe it off, but I used it to clean my fairly dirty mountain bike, and I couldn't see how that would clean all the dry dust off, so I hosed it down first, then sprayed the soap, and rubbed it with the sponge, followed by a final hose-down. It's more soapy than I expected and took awhile to rinse off. You could probably just pour some into a bucket and use it car-wash style, which is probably what I'm going to do next time.I then cleaned the drivetrain using the chain and freewheel cleaner spray. It's some solvent spray with lubricant in it. Although it seemed to do a good job, I was going through the can pretty quickly trying to blast away all the grime. Eventually, I just used the included tool (probably the real mvp of this package) to dislodge and brush everything I could away before blasting it with this spray again. I then used one of the microfiber cloths to clean the solvent-soaked chain, and that worked well. The spray does work, but I think is a bit wasteful. It also smells like solvent, but isn't too bad since I used it outdoors.Finally, once I was done, I used the dry lubricant on the cassette and chain. It went on wet and dried like it was supposed to. I don't have long term performance on this yet, but it seems fine so far.Anyway, at its current listed price of $59.99, it would be a hard-sell for me. I will continue to use it, but I don't think I would buy this again. I just don't think it's a big difference compared to how I was washing my bike before with limited supplies. I would, however, buy that cleaning tool separately if I needed another one.

This is a decent starter kit for doing your own bike cleaning. The tools and chemicals are decent quality and will get the job done. But there aren’t especially great - think of this as a trial kit to get a sense of what things you like and don’t like so that when you upgrade, you have a better sense of what you should be buying.

First off, this kit is definitely a little costly, but if you catch it on sale, it's worth every penny. Other than that, you get some great quality stuff. I've used it on my Trek hybrids, e-bikes (wheels & exterior), and scooters. It works nicely on light-moderate gunk, but if you hit any muddy trails you'll have to do a wash before. Overall I'd buy it again (on sale).

As someone who mountain bikes often in dusty conditions, I have to clean my bike pretty often. This cleaning kit is great and does a great job cleaning the gunk out of the drivetrain to keep it smooth. Great product.
