I put these on a late 50's classical guitar that has some sentimental value, but little monetary value. The old tuners were almost impossible to use. These are a great improvement over those and do a reasonable job of staying in tune. They are more than suitable for my use. If you perform in public or have a valuable guitar you probably want to look elsewhere. For the rest of us they're fine.

I can't say that I am overly impressed with the REMAGIC Classical Guitar Tuners primarily for the reason that the tuners are rather wiggly and have a lot of play and slop in them which essentially causes a slight angle when string pressure is applied to the string pegs. It would be hard to capture this situation with a picture. That is my primary reason for rating them 3 stars.However, the look and appearance of them is very nice and in my opinion, they would serve as low cost replacements for lower end classical guitars that generally have the same tuner play and slop I mentioned. The gold plating is nice and even the design of the rails that screw into the headstock is very nice as well. No problem there. The actual tuner keys for each string are essentially plastic that don't appear to be replaceable. Higher end tuners usually have a set screw for easy removal/replacement. These do not. They do seem to be very similar to one of my cheaper classical, nylon string guitars. But again, the play and slop can be an issue to maintain precise tuning. At the very least, they do come with screws that match the rail color (gold).With a fair lower price point for what these tuners are, I would only recommend them as replacements on the lower end classical guitars for beginning guitar students. But beyond that, I couldn't recommend them as upgrades if you spend a lot of time playing and want to spend less time endlessly fine tuning your strings each time you play.Three Stars
