I tried these to see if it would be easier to apply oil regularly to cutting board instead of using a microfiber rag, which tends to absorb too much of the oil. These give a more consistent and faster to apply sheen of oil. I use a second pad to buff after letting it sit.

I really liked these pads. In fact so well, I’ll order again. The first one I used did a perfect job in helping oil my wood cutting board. I was not disappointed.

I’ve used these for both types of oil. They work well and are easy to clean. They are thick enough that my fingers don’t get oily.

So easy to use, great quality, multiple uses with Clark system on my wood countertop, thickness is perfect, easy cleaning, don't smell, super cute and so handy. No more finding some rag to use on my counter to apply wax and mineral oil.

Clark's customer support assured me these would work for seasoning my cast iron pans without leaving behind any lint (one of the product images even shows them being used on a cast iron pan). That was not entirely true. They don't leave MUCH lint behind, but it's definitely noticeable. Lint left in a pan during heating leads to carbonization, which leads to bad seasoning and decreased pan performance.

I used these to apply the " conditioner" side of the process and opted for hard sponge handheld item different brand to apply oil.Happy with results.I can't say if they wash etc as I haven't tried.

I have butcher block countertops and I bought rags at first made of the same material as these round sponges. These are easier to use and you can hang on to them easier as you treat your wood. They last a good while. First I clean with vinegar then buff them out with wood polish. Works great and lasts awhile before I have to do it again.
