You may be fooled into thinking the expensive fancy bar tapes are the way to go (I certainly was) but nothing beats good ol' Cinelli cork for comfort, ease of installation, durability and cost. And sure you can save a few bucks buying a no-name cork wrap but Cinelli actually includes finishing tape you will want to use instead of electrical tape (it's strong, sticky and has a grippy texture) and the bar ends fit perfectly unlike cheaper ones I've used. Stop goof'n around and just buy this tape.

I wrapped up the VNM GT Steering wheel which originally had rubbery grips which I hated because it leaves the hands sticky and also gets dirty very quickly.These wraps are cork and fit perfectly fine over the steering wheel and greatly enhanced the touch and feel of the steering wheel!Would highly recommend them due to the durability, affordability, and looks.

This is by far the best cork tape I’ve used. The stretchability is great. The appearance is great. The durability is great. And I love the feel/grip of the tape. For me it’s the perfect mix of padding/comfortability! Would rate higher if I could.

Installation went straight forward for the most part but had to replace the supplied termination adhesive strips with black electrical tape as the former did not hold well (i.e., started peeling off not long after applied).

Cinelli cork tape is the best bicycle bar tape available. It's easy to install, including peeling it off and re-applying when you don't get it quite right, and it comes off easy with no mess after years of use and it's reached the end of its useful life. This is in sharp contrast to other bar tapes that don't perform well, don't last long, and leave a mess of adhesive and plastic film when you remove them. Now, for the interesting part. I don't just use these for bicycle handle bars......we've found Cinelli cork tape to be a great baseball bat grip. It installs easy, comes off easy, absorbs a lot of vibration (as is designed being a bicycle bar grip), and one package of this cork tape provides grips for four bats. Order it in whatever color matches your bat or your desire.

Vibrant orange (almost hi-vis orange, but not highlighter orange). I may update my review if the durability & color is largely maintained after use.The color works nicely as a visual accent piece.The length was sufficient for me, but I wrapped these tapes on my narrow 400mm short bullhorn handlebar. It comes in two rolls & I did have about two 18"/45mm length of tapes left after I finished installing the tapes.This cork handlebar felt thick enough to be comfortable (again, may update my review after about a year of regular use).Not the cheapest handlebar tape (purchase this on Amazon for $16-$19 in 2023 while other brands offer similar product for $11), but the quality seems to be worth it so far.

So I'm modernizing a 40 year old Trek 736 road bike and I replaced the original narrow and deep drop road handlebars for a more modern "gravel bike" bar that's wider, less drop, and flared out.FWIW I bought the PRO Discover Big Flare 12 Degree drop bars from Amazon.To prepare I watched a few YouTube videos and my install went fine and looks great, not as good as a pro mechanic but for me it's good.The tape is thick enough that it gives you a good feel when you are gripping the bars but not so thick that it makes your handlebar feel lumpy.The tape has enough stretch to make the install pretty easy and I had plenty of tape to wrap both sides of the wider gravel style bars.

Nice too the touch, gives good support. Colour is perfect match for Bianchi bike. Negative is that you need to clean it more often. Easy to install, good form.
