I bought this item after losing a similar one in a white elephant gift exchange face off. This item made me glad to have lost the other, as this particular lighter has a lot more to it. Where to begin? First off, it looks beautiful and has a solid, satisfying weight in hand. The sort of art nouveau finishings on it really make it stand out. As I told my wife when it arrived, it looks and feels a bit like a prop from a Harry Potter movie. What I really enjoy though is the functionality. To have a cigar cutter, hole punch, gouge, lighter and cigar stand all in the same item is a big win. Refilling is easy, and I find the fills last a good long time. The quad torch lights instantly every time and makes lighting up an absolute cinch. I am not a regular cigar smoker--maybe 2 or 3 butts a year--but this has proven an ever ready companion. It's big enough to let you know it's there, but not so large it can't be easily dropped in a pants or jacket pocket. Makes for an exceptional conversation piece over cigars out on the patio, or at your favorite campsite, or wherever you make your journeys to Flavor Country from. And the price makes it a hard item to refuse. Highly, highly recommended.

Bought as a gift. Pretty neat gift for the cigar enthusiast. Has included cigar cutter and rest for cigar. A little bigger than I expected, but it’s not leaving the house. Cool vintage look to it with a gold filigree design.

I bought this cigar lighter for my husband, and he absolutely loves it. The design is beautiful with its intricate engraving, and the antique brass finish gives it a classic, elegant feel. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and lights cigars perfectly every time. He’s really happy with it, and I’m glad I picked something both functional and stylish. A great gift for any cigar lover!

Rating update (1-13-25):After a month of use, I am providing an update to my original post. The finicky torch adjusting daily was really nothing more than a signal of butane level being too low. As the torch appears to be four mini torches, then this makes sense. Keep it topped off and you'll have no problems. I give this torch two thumbs up and five stars.Original:OK, let's be honest a torch at this price is always a gamble. And so far it has worked, albeit the flame adjust knob is touchy so be patient until you figure out the sweet spot. Fuel capacity is decent and flame lights the cigar quickly. The rest of the goodies (a V cutter, a punch, and a poker for tight cigars) are worth the price alone. The cigar rest is a nice touch too. This brass package is engraved nicely too. All in all, I'm impressed. If the torch was less finicky, I would have given 5 stars. Quality is nice and so far all the extra tools work as advertised. Either way, at this price the other tools are worth the price alone.

Edit 11/25/2004: Seller was kind enough to refund product so I purchased another. Hopefully this one will last! It really is a beautiful lighter. Bought this for my man's 50th birthday. He loved it, it's a beautiful lighter. Worked great until it didn't. Igniter stopped sparking after less than 2 months. Disappointing. Useless now, nothing more than a fancy cutter
