The wire mesh was strong but easy to cut. The cutters worked well. The gloves tend to snag, but held together will I needed them. This is a good set for someone who does not already have all the tools for a project.

Wonderfully malleable. I was able to build a small cage to protect a struggling seedling from further deer harassment.The plastic zip ties and the bag they were in were oddly warped and melted, and were quite flimsy to begin with. They are good for holding together your initial construction in a pinch, and nothing more. The wire cutters are excellent and sharp and will come in handy for lots of other little projects. The gloves were flimsy and thin, and don't protect from pokes and jabs. I ended up taking them off as they hindered my grip and dexterity.I wouldn't trust this thin-gauge mesh to protect small livestock from predators; a weasle or raccoon could bite through this much too easily. Best choose a tougher mesh with smaller holes, ideally hardware cloth.

Great product that comes with everything you need! I maintain the plantings in a large city roundabout on our street. Because it's a breezy intersection, the Silver Falls that cascade over the edges of the top urn always end up blowing back up inside the urn so you can't see them. I used the chicken wire to stabilize the plants and help keep them in the cascading position. It worked great and now the urn looks terrific!
