I really like these lights. They are bright. They didn't last though.I used them for additional back up lights mounted on my truck cap.I only happened to check them a day ago while checking my taillights. For all I know they failed months ago.Turns out they both don't light up completely and they flicker. Looks like seal on the edge of lens failed and water got in.I went ahead and ordered replacements, but I wonder the warranty is?????

I used these under the TV cabinet housing in my RV. It adds so much more light in a compact size

Worked great for 5 months, began developing moisture within light housing, water accumulation, yellow staining, then lights begin to fail.

I would prefer a little brighter and wider beam for use as a backup lamp with a backup cam. Seems to be water/moisture proof. Installation is straightforward.

I bought this ordinally to install my rear bumper as additional illumination for backing up. I think they would have worked fine for this, however, I decided to with different lights which had a lower impact on my bumper (I did not want permanently modify my bumper to bolt these on). Instead, I mounted this on the roof of my cargo area to provide more light (especially when the hatch is open). It worked well for this application. There are 8 screws on the back of this light and they put a sealer over those to keep water out. The issue is that the sealer bubbled up above the back, so when you mount the light on a flat surface it sticks up. I had to file these flat to get the light to mount. They also used the same sealer to seal the cable going into the back. IF you did not file this down you would need to drill a huge hole to feed the cable thru. I gave this light 4 stars because of that. Otherwise, these are very well made and bright. I would recommend them.

I installed two of these under the hood of my 2002 Silverado because the factory installed 'work light' has always been worthless. The difference in illumination was dramatic and I don't know why I waited 20 years to do this. The engine bay is now bathed in clear bright light making maintenance less tiresome and no more messing with corded work lights. I bypassed the factory '20 minute time-out' circuit of the original work light and installed a fused link with switch directly to the battery. The light bodies are made of heavy, powdered coated aluminum and the lenses are thick plastic with a Fresnel type reflective interior. Very bright.

These are bright enough as DRL, but not too bright as to blind other drivers. Very well constructed. No sign of water intrusion after several rainy days. The low profile design makes installation easy.
