I used these for a bachelorette party because my friend and I made breakfast in the morning and wanted to be "extra". Well these fit the description perfectly. The hat is tall and the material is thick. Its easy to put on and stays in place.

A neat and fun chefs hat for sure! Hat remains erect, even after continuous use! It will however make you sweat, for the fabric doesn't allow air flow at all! Also, holds stains big time! And I don't wanna throw the hat in the washer machine, so I try to spot clean it. My son says it just adds character! Hat does fit well and comfortably!

The FIRST thing I noticed with this hat is that it had a small black stain, right out of the packaging! This indicates poor QC. Otherwise, in terms of its construction, I like the heavy fabric of this hat. It keeps the hat sturdy and it feels professional.However, when I actually wear this hat, I do not like how big it is. Despite having an elastic strap, it slips over my forehead and sits on my ears. I think I have a slightly smaller head, so this may work for other people.Last note: This hat shipped flat, so it doesn’t sit perfectly round when I wear it. It kinda looks like a pope’s hat in this way. I hope it rounds out.

I bought this as somewhat of a gag gift, but it's actually really nice. Good solid cotton fabric, fits well, looks good, well made. And it is actually holds a sanitary function in that it covers your hair and catches sweat on your brow. If you do want to wear a hat like this for looks or function, this one's not bad.
