whether you are talking gas powered, electric, large or small chainsaw, this right here can save you a lot of money on having chains sharpened or having to buy new ones. it does require a little bit of learning but that learning curve is not too bad

This thing is pretty easy to use. Slot in the right size file, line it up, set the angle, then pulse it on and off until sharp.There's really not much more to it. It gets the blade every bit as sharp as a hand file, but really cuts down on sharpening time if I ruined the edge with a dip in the dirt. I do wish this included a file and guide for the depth gauges, but the kit is such a good value overall that I really can't complain about that.I like that it includes other standard dremel accessories as well as a set of replacement brushes for the motor. I should get some long life out of this

I use several chain tools around the yard, from electric pole extension saw to small chainsaw. And it's nice to have a sharp chain when a tool is underpowered. While i will sharpen by hand its not something i'm very good at and after a while i notice that my chain is dull again. With this electric sharpener it's allot faster to set up my angles with the provided gauge. And the whole process does not take very long. Everything i needed is provided for every size of chain possibly need. And because the attachments are universal it will be easy to replace ones i wear down or break.

This product is great with so many different provided attachments. The degree guide it super helpful for beginners not knowing exactly what angle to sharpen a chain at. It has each basic degree starting at 25 and going up to 35. It shows a guide line you literally just line up straight with your chain. Super simple. The product itself is very well made with the options to adjust speed. It's perfect for at home use (unfortunately not cordless) but all and all a great buy for the price and will make your life a bit easier.

This is a dremel like tool that comes with a lot of accessories for sharpening chainsaw chains. The only thing I had to learn to use was the angle tool, which ended up being pretty easy to assemble. I had to watch a Youtube video to make sure I was doing everything right. It is pretty easy and it made a real difference in the sharpness of the chain blades. I have no complaints as this works really well, but it did seem a bit expensive compared to other sharpening tools I looked at. I still think it is a good deal though, as this one does come with more accessories and it seems more heavy-duty than others.

This is a review for a Pretec Chainsaw Sharpener 120V, Chainsaw Chain Sharpener Electric Tool with 54 PCS Sharpener Accessories, High Speed Kit with Sharpening Wheels and Angle Attachment.This is a Dremel like tool. It is very good value as it comes with a variety of wheels and attachments. The tool has a good weight to it and runs powerfully with little or no vibration.As a chainsaw sharpening tool it comes with a nice attachment that helps to keep the tool at the correct angle for chainsaw blade sharpening. I found it very useful versus free hand sharpening.The grinding stones with the kit performed well for me too. I like the variable speed control as well.As I said earlier this is very good value for what you get..
