This pad shape is also recommended for round horses that often have problems with saddles rolling from side to side.This pad measures 27" wide from flap to flap, 23" long form flap to back, and 15" across the seat. As a general rule, it fits most saddles 18" and larger. Due to saddle brand variety, you should measure your saddle to ensure proper fit. This pad will mold to your horse's shape when warmed to body temperature, and should be used on top of your refular saddle pad, directly underneath your saddle. I purchased this item because it was required for my daughter to complete her veterinary technician study program. While it is quite effective for its purpose, the vet that she worked under recommended other methods to control the horse.
