These are great for people with big ankles and legs. They do not leave a strain on your legs when you take them off. They are very comfortable.

These socks are indeed big enoughj for us wide calf women. They are fun and comfortable to wear. I can't really address the compression aspect because I'm confused what that is supposed to do. What I do like is that the calf is wide and they stay up! I'm 5'6" and they are actually a little long for me. They don't go over the knee but hit it somewhere in the middle. I have to cuff them but perhaps they will shrink a bit.I will say the colors are fantastic. They are so fun. I'm sad that shorts season is over because I'd love to show these off!

The calves of the socks were way too long, closer to 16", and you can't (or shouldn't) roll down compression socks. Even if the calf had worked, the foot portion was a bit big even on my spouse whose feet are 4 sizes larger.

These compression socks are soft and fit comfortably. They are easy to put on and are not too tight on my legs. I love them!

I have used many compression socks over the years- they really do help with energy levels & varicose veins. As a plus-sized woman, it's usually a fine line between supportive and restrictive. I have long legs, with a calf circumference of about 18", and I got these in a 2X, because I usually get the 15-20 mmhg of compression rather than 20-30, and I didn't want them to be binding or uncomfortable. I probably would have been fine with the 1X. These are very comfortable socks- maybe a little on the thinner side than some- very soft, non-binding, and come all the way to my knee easily. That being said, I'm skeptical that I'm getting the amount of compression I need in the 2X. Compression socks *should* be a little difficult to put on... these were not at all. I'm likely to reorder, and I will probably likely try the 1X when I do.

Not a women, and these socks worked fine for me with managing my DVT. While I can see how some of the color schemes are geared towards women, the sizing chart works for either gender. The compression seems alright, I might have actually sized down 1 from my calf size for a little more, but they breath well, they fit snug, and the price point is great.
