Decided to try a new more focused martial arts for my birthday & began doing Muay Thai workouts from YouTube & fell in love with the difficulty of it & how quickly my strength & stamina increased with only Shadow boxing. A few weeks later I purchased a reflex bag which I love. Taught me to duck punches & bob and weave but I needed something to practice teeps, kicks & elbow & knee combos on & reflex wasn’t cutting it. I searched & searched because I did not want another bulky water filled 250 pound base to deal with. When I saw this I was hopeful. It’s pricey but it’s slim, only have to zip it & it’s sturdy.I now use it & it’s incredible. Best bag for those who don’t want to hang a bag in a family area or constantly move the thing with the help of someone. I’m 5’3 & can drag it into position whenever I want.Highly recommend!!!! Total game changer. Worth every dime!!!

Shipping was a nightmare, but it wasn't Century's fault. They resent it twice because FedEx kept losing it.It took a long time to set it up, but once I realized the end of the zipper (the fabric part with a bit of plastic covering it) was too long, I snipped it down and it zipped up easily. It's not very heavy, but I have to hit it hard to knock it over. I'm a 5'8" female. It's great for in my apartment and let's me participate well in virtual class. I love it so much.

Do not mistake this for a heavy bag replacement - that's not what it's designed for. Excellent for skill and technique training (I use it for building combative combo muscle memory in Krav Maga while also building cardio). Excellent for striking, knees, low kicks, high kicks, ground and pound drills, etc - especially combos leading to the floor followed by ground and pound. Good Cardio - see some of the YouTube videos for sit-ups, plyos, dead lifts and many other solo things you can do with it. Again, do not mistake this for a heavy bag substitute for full strength or full speed attacks. If you buy it for the right reasons, youlls definitely work up a sweat working on important stuff and you'll love it. Piece of cake to put together and quality is great. I use it every off day.

*Full review below*Quality: 9/10The zipper that attaches the bag to the base is tough as nails, but I wish there were some snaps or something to back it up. If it ever broke, the bag would be useless. That's a really nitpicky complaint though. The odds of breaking that zipper are practically zero.Functionality: 8/10Tough, tall, and great for any kind of attack including takedowns. Slide it into a corner to avoid knocking it over.Design and Mobility: 10/10Unlike heavy standing bags with huge sand or water filled bases, this is great for upstairs apartments, wood floors, carpet, and closet storage.Worth the money? Heck yeah.Ok let's think about the design of this real quick. The base is a fancy sandbag that weighs around ninety pounds while the upper portion is basically a solid block of foam around six feet tall that's extremely light. If you're expecting this to feel like a heavy bag, you're going to be disappointed. It's still the best bag I've trained with though, and here's why.I'm a mid-twenties, 180 pound, male, Krav Maga enthusiast. While my punches aren't going to have the same force as a heavyweight boxer, they're not something you'd intentionally want to stand in front of if you can help it, and I needed a bag that could stand up to lots of punishment. However, I live in an upstairs studio apartment, so I can't hang a bag and I don't want to fill a big plastic base with sand or water and get it stuck up here, so a bag I could pull out and then put away was a must. This thing is perfect for that. When I want to do a heavy workout with lots of fast repetitive punches, knees, and kicks, I just slide the bag over into a corner so I wont knock it over. If I want to practice takedowns, ground attacks, or do punching sit ups, I slide it back into the middle of the room. Zipping the bag onto the base took about 45 seconds of awkward squeezing and pushing (would be easier with two people for sure) but other than that it's ready to use straight out of the box. The construction quality is top notch, and the thing looks downright sexy. You're not going to find a better made, or more versatile bag at this price.

This is a cool bag, it reminds me of the inflatable clowns I used to punch as a kid that would pop back up. Its not so great for combinations because the first hit causes it to rock back, but I bungee'd the top of the bag to the ceiling through the handles on top and that worked pretty well. The bag is great for kicks, but if you have any kind of power the base will slide around so if you want it to stay in one place, get a rubber mat to put under it to hold it in place. This is way more fun to kick the crap out of than a punching bag and easier on my arms, wrists and legs because its got some give and the bag part is foam. The top and the base are shipped in separate boxes and then you zip them together - which is easier than I thought it would be ones you get started just pull the top toward you as you zip around and its no problem. I like this because you can hit or kick it pretty much anywhere- so if you accidently kick the base it wont break your foot off, unlike some of the standing bags I have had in the past.
