The product info says upgraded hardened steel that is an upgrade from manufactured part. The original drive shaft lasted for over 1½ years. This one lasted all of one day.

Been using these upgraded dogbones in my Kraton and Typhon 6s and they work great. I put my rc trucks thru hell and I broke the original set of dog bones at the skatepark so needed some upgrades. Decided to try these and I'm glad I did. They fit great, they work perfectly and haven't come close to breaking yet. Really durable and definitely an upgrade you should do if your a basher.
