This is much better than the last cover I got. It is made of heavier fabric and seems like it may last a little longer. The edge of the fabric has a bungee material to hold it around the edge of the boat which is nice. I still have the problem that no cover fits around my T Top, but I expected that and it's not the covers fault. I just have to rig it in a way to cover what I want covered and that usually means cutting up my new cover a little. :) Anyway, it is a nice cover and I am pleasantly surprised at the quality.

I keep my boat at a marina in a dry stack and the past few times I got on it there was bird poo/pollen all over my center console. I would spend 10 minutes wiping the bird poo/pollen off and just dreading the next time I went back down what I was going to see. I looked around online for center console covers but couldn't really find any reasonable priced. I just put the cover on last Saturday so I really haven't had to deal with taking it off putting it on but I can tell it's going to be a breeze and I will just store it under my seat. Now I don't have to cover my radio or GPS or worry about bird poo/pollen and when I'm spraying down after a day I can just spray everywhere without worrying about the console to wet.

Overall this seems like a solid product. The fit is generous but not overly so. It cover my 1998 Whaler Outrage 17 sufficiently, and draws up reasonably tight. You’ll still need to put something under it to prevent pooling as it’s not shrink wrap tight. The big miss is that the tightening straps shown closest to the front end do not exist. So I had to improvise with a golf ball and p-cord to create those missing pieces. I’ll have a much better sense of how it works after six months sitting out in the elements.

Just got a used center console and I needed a quick way to keep it out of the rain. This is a great cover for the money. Fit was fine for me. Great buy.
