This would definitely be a nice gift for someone. The packaging has some beautiful forest artwork along with the little product card, each cedar block has a wood-burned fern and attractive logotype, and it comes with a tiny sandpaper for refreshing the blocks. I hadn’t really thought about that, but it makes sense that cedar can be refreshed by sanding. The hooks come separate which the seller was clear about in the photos and I was pleased with this as I only use some as hanging and some inside bins as blocks. There is a good quantity for putting about and the quality is very fine with rounded sides and beautiful woodgrain and coloring. Haven’t had long enough to know if it actually works with keeping pests away from clothes but I do like the product and the scent. I would buy again esp if it does its job. Only time will tell I guess but so far I am pleased! I put like 8 in our bedroom closet hung up between coats and hoodies and sweatshirts, etc. I also put one ball in each dresser drawer. I think I also put like one hanger each in our other two closets but those don’t really have much clothes in there just other stored stuff so that’s why I only hung 1 each in those closets. I have some left over which is cool too for sharing or just to have extra on hand in case I need more.

This review is for Cedar Blocks for Clothes Storage, Cedar Balls for Closets and Drawers -40 pcs, Including 15 Hang-ups and 25 Balls- Aromatic Blocks for Closets.This cedar set is just what we needed in our largest closet. The blocks and hooks require assembly, which is as easy as screwing the hooks into the blocks by hand. While somewhat tiring, it's easy to do and requires relatively little time. The hooks fit snugly.The set smells amazing. I can smell the scent just walking by the closet. The product comes with sandpaper for refreshing the scent regularly, as well as instructions for how and how often to do so in order to maintain its effectiveness.

Safeguard your clothes! I haven't had a moth problem and I don't want one. I have shirts from my father and my grandfather (both of whom I lost within a year's time) and I want to keep those shirts safe for years to come. They smell so so sooo good. I have the balls in my dresser drawers. I have one hanging in my entranceway near the jackets and coats. Aside from functional, they're attractive, so you don't have to keep them hidden away.

When these arrived I was a little surprised at how small the package was. I shouldn't have been surprised, the measurements are listed right in the ad and they are accurate. The blocks ae 6" x 2" and 3/8" thick, almost like holding a thin remote control. The hooks that they hang with are standard closet hanger hooks. The hook and the block together are about the same height as a regular clothes hanger. The hooks and the blocks arrive separately and you have to screw the hooks into the blocks to hang them. This is a little annoying because you have to do that 15 times. But it would be nice if you weren't planning on using the hooks. The balls are the size of a marble, I used a dime in the picture to give an idea of the scale. These things put out a LOT of scent for their small size. When I first opened the box I put my nose right up to the blocks and took a big whiff. The scent from all of them altogether stung my nostrils and made my eyes water. Because they are so small, they fit well in drawers and closets. Because there are so many of them, I ended up doubling up in a few places. They even included a little sheet of sandpaper to bring out more scent in the future when the smell weakens. The blocks and balls came with a nice little note and instruction sheet. For the price, I would have expected a larger volume of wood. But the finish is nice, I definitely won't be getting any splinters, and this is much easier/nicer than trying to diy something. And the scent is strong enough for this one box to cover four closets and dressers with more to spare.

This set of cedar closet hangers and drawer balls is just what I needed. Love the fresh smell of cedar, and while you do have to assemble the hanging ones by screwing the hanger into the block, it's easy and doesn't take much time. There are enough of these to hang in all our closets and plenty of the little balls to drop into drawers. A small sandpaper is included to freshen them up over time. Five stars.

These were a great set of cedar blocks! I love using cedar for moth control as it is a constant battle here. These are the best I've ever ordered! The hangers were good quality, smooth, & easy to hang in the closets. The smaller balls were easily put in a sachet or net bags to toss in a drawer or chest. I even have put a few under the bed frame to discourage moth proliferation in area rugs. They work so well! If the loose their smell, lightly sand them & replace them back in the same place. You won't be disappointed in these! Great value!
