About this item

  • AM/FM Radio, Bluetooth Music Streaming, Bluetooth Hands-free calling, Google Assistant & Siri Support
  • 5-10 minute install into 8 pin Deutsch weatherproof connector

You are viewing a Direct Connect, Plug and Play radio for equipment utilizing the 8-pin Deutsch weatherproof connector most commonly found on Caterpillar equipment. Most Cat equipment runs on a 24 volt + DC battery system. This is a 12 volt DC radio. The equipment should be equipped with a 24v to 12v step down transformer. Please check specs on current radio or by using a multimeter between pins 6 and 3 on the harness in cab to ensure there is 12 volts across these two pins (pins labeled on rear of harness). Failure to check will damage your equipment as well as this piece of equipment. If you are unsure if this unit is compatible, please check the radio cavity prior to purchasing for mating harness (See last photo). This unit takes 5-10 minutes to install and is fully direct plug and play! Included: 1 x single DIN radio to fit your compatible tractor AM/FM Stereo Radio Bluetooth Music Streaming - Listen to Spotify or other iPhone/Android music apps Bluetooth Hands-free calling (call and talk on the phone while getting work done!) USB for listening to MP3's! Front auxiliary input (standard 3.5mm plug - iPod, MP3 player, etc.) 1 x hardwired radio harness to connect the radio directly to your tractor Direct plug and play (no soldering or trying to guess which wire goes where!)

EDIT: Seller sent a replacement immediately and it has worked great so far! Going on 2 weeks. Amazing Customer Service.Installed into a 2002 Cat 950G loader. It worked fine until I went to leave, then poof, no sound. Radio still turns on fine, but no power going to the speakers from the radio. I tested continuity with a multi meter, speakers were good, and power to radio were good. But radio to speakers were bad.
