Once the silica gel is saturated just pop it in the oven to cook out the moisture & use it again. I am very happy with case. Well thought-out layout. Can hold a Standard version and the parts for a para version at the same time. This case allows me to keep everything together for range day and adds moisture protection. If you got this FN, you need one of these cases.

I was concerned that the case might be flimsy as some plastic cases can be, but this one is really made from thick material. Case doesn't flex or twist in any way, very heavy duty and well designed layout for the M249.Very very pleased with this purchase. I especially like all the added features to customize case for your particular gun and added items I carry to the range. I also liked the rechargeable silica gel packs, the ammo storage and waterproof accessory box. I would highly recommend. For this price a really great value.

This case is awesome, it is full of options and fits like a glove. Very well thought out and every groove and plug is cut perfectly where it is needed. It fits my 249S with the full size and para configurations all in a single case!

(No pictures because Amazon.)This is an excellently thought out foam for the M249S owner. Case is also decent. See video on their site for the full layout. Will skip straight to nuances.This is intended for Classic or Para model with standard plastic hand guard. If you have milspec "Mk26 improved" KAC rail, front rail grip, or improved bipod (round leg), the well-thought-out foam layout starts to not fit/have the same benefit. There are also no foam cutout adjustments for cheek-riser "Mk26 improved" stock; this could be improved. But for stock M249S owners this isn't a concern.Scopes are a concern; and may cause some foam weakness if mounting a long LPVO requiring a large cutout. Not illustrated in video, there are "curved arcs" at 2 heights and 3 lengths that are partially cut. This actually interferes a bit with cutting/fitment.I wish they either omitted the arcs entirely; and instead only lightly glued the 3 layers of foam together. Or glued them heavily, and made the arcs pull-out tabs as a single piece (in 3 increasing stages) like they did the pistol magazine holes.Soft-packs don't fit well, but can be made to fit with cutting the top cover foam pull-out to be square instead of slanted (for plastic can). Two 100 soft packs can fit stock if placed at an angle. One 200 plastic can and two 100 soft packs can be forced to fit by cutting top foam square to remove interference. But any 200 soft packs won't fit well due to being round.There is also no place to put the FN M249S sling. But it can fit (once detached) by placing lengthwise over spare barrel slot. Also no place to store the M249S user manual and lock.Overall it is a very clever foam layout perfect for replacing the cardboard box the M249S comes in. However there is room for improvement if you are a serious collector with accessories, and should likely reach out directly to CaseClub (or another company) for custom foam.Case itself is okay. I have no major complaints. Somewhere in-between a Plano and Pelican Air in terms of quality. Only complaint is inner and outer locking holes are not symmetrical/steel reinforced; only the outer ones are. The inner ones are exposed plastic, and smaller hole diameter. Lid has a travel stop and remains partially open; very helpful (except if in windy environment).Overall would recommend as must-buy for stock M249S purchasers. Consider-then-buy for collectors.

Great product. Not as beefy as a Pelican but for the price you really can't complain. Easily fits an M249S and all the goodies.
