Let me tell you this, don't let the price of this microphone fool you. I have used high end mics from gigs (sm58, Sennheiser 855 & 835 and shure skull mic) but this one is a super cardioid dynamic microphone which is by the way has a greater value than other expensive mics. Don't get me wrong, those mica that I mentioned are great mics BUT for this price, I'll be damned! You can be wrong in choosing this brand! And btw, I also use their skull type mic! It has superb tone too! Carol mics are awesome! Lastly, it's also built like a tank, it is durable with a cool color gold!

Great sounding microphone. No phantom power required. Built extremely well, very rugged. Fit and finish make it seem more expensive than it is. Very heavy. Great performance. Not quite as loud as a condenser mic, but I believe that's what it is supposed to be. Picks up acoustic instruments very well for capturing acoustic guitar. Nice full range with no popping.

カラオケに使用中のゼンハ〇〇ーに似ているので使ってみた。音質に遜色ないかなぁ！！むしろこっちの方が歯切れが良く聴こえた。ON/OFFでの雑音もなく、口元から離しても結構拾うのでこっちの方が使い易かった。ヘッドキャップを入れ替えてみたらピタリ収まるし内部のカートリッジの造りも良く似ています。というわけでCAROLをメインに使うことにしました。

I was looking at reviews and was baffled by some of the bad ones, which were all for the most part customer errors, "wasn't loud enough" is a YOU problem not having a strong enough amp, or having the volume up loud enough. "Was not a powered Mic" the description tells you it is not, that seems again, like a YOU problem. Truth be told, I am a DJ, I own 3 of these mics and they are AMAZING for the price, they have a crisp clear sound, similar to a Sure 58 , I have quite a few of those as well, as an audio guy, who likes a crisp clean look to go along with the sound quality, you truly can not beat this mic... I ONLY wrote this review because of the ridiculous reviews I saw.. also, I do events 5 days a week, all year long... I know quality.... You get MUCH more than you pay for with this mic.
