Form fit and function were the same. Worked well when installed except for air filter. Air filter was to tall and prevented install of engine cover. Had to use original air filter.

Kit states it is for 026, yet the kit has incorrect air filter, incorrect fuel line, different size fuel filter.

Bought this to fix up my MS260. After reading the reviews I knew what I was signing up for. The carb fits well, but the fuel lines seem almost comically long, and the airfilter is too thicc to replace the old one.

The holes do not line up right. it looks like it was drill off center. the carb was the same dimensions as the old one, except two on the bolt holes are off center. because its from china Amazon said they can not return it. DON"T BUY CHINESE CRAP

I’ve used several of these kits. When I installed this one I wasn’t getting fuel. I noticed a kink in the rubber pick up line from the filter to the carb. It has a section that isn’t corrugated creating a kink spot.

Was hoping this new carb would be to solution to the problem with my Stihl 026. Was not disappointed. Just had to fiddle with the jet adjustment screws for a while and finally got it tuned just right. I would buy another one if needed. One last note: the spring for the main idle jet was kind of weak and allowed the screw to turn out when running. Pushed a small piece of rubber packing next to the screw head so it wouldn't move and all's good.
