The urine in the cup needs to cover the fifth hole in the test, and when there shows red (it may takes about 30s-60s) in the test you need to take out and lay it flat. It's better to use the first urine in the morning, the outcome will be more accurate.
What does the test result mean?
POSITIVE:
Two red lines are visible in both the test region (T) and control region (C) means you are probably pregnant. One line may be lighter than the other. They do not have to match.
NEGATIVE:
One red line is visible in the control region (C) means you are probably not pregnant
INVALID:
The result is invalid if no red line appears in the control region(C), even if a line appears in the test region (T).
Key things to remember about hCG levels
1.An hCG level of less than 5 mIU/mL is considered negative, and anything above 10 mIU/mL is considered positive for pregnancy.
2. An hCG level between 6 and 9 mIU/mL is considered a grey area, and you’ll likely need to be retested to see if your levels rise to confirm a pregnancy.
3.The hCG hormone is measured in milli-international units per milliliter (mIU/mL).
4. As you get further along in pregnancy and the hCG level gets higher, the time it takes to double can increase to about every 96 hours.
5. When there is a question regarding the health of the pregnancy, one testing of hCG done two days apart give a more accurate assessment of the situation.

Positive line comes up really light and the plastic is scratched. Makes reading the results very difficult.

These are great for the price.I took 1 and it had a faint line and, I took another one 5 days later and line was darker.I went to doctor for blood test and it was accurate, I was pregnant. If you can't afford the more expensive tests definitely try these.

It is very very unfortunate that I have to write this. I wanted so badly to love these. But I should have listened to previous reviews. These tests simply do not detect pregnancy. I took these tests, as my doctor instructed me to take tests before an invasive pelvic procedure, which if pregnant would kill a pregnancy. I took all 5 tests. As I kept feeling unsure. Every single test was an absolute stark negative. Not even a hint of a line. Had it not been for an amazing nurse, and a very adamant intuition I would have killed my pregnancy that I tried for years to achieve by simply trusting this product... I wanted so bad to love it. I loved the design the shape the colors the presentation. I liked the price and sleek look. But it very nearly costed me a price much much too steep...

I've used a total of 15 of these while we were TTC for 3 cycles because they are cheap and I didn't feel bad for over testing each month. When I got my positive result, I tested so early (3 weeks, 2 days) that I didn't think there was any way it would be positive. I couldn't believe it when the positive pink line showed up, very faint but definitely there. I went out and got a First Response Early test that is more sensitive (6.5 hGC detection vs Docalon's stated 10 hGC) and retested the next afternoon (I couldn't test in the morning) and got a much stronger line. I have continued using them to monitor how dark my pregnancy line gets and they do show my hGC levels rising.**Noted Update** At 4 weeks and 3 days, these tests were still faint and not really getting much darker. This did worry me because my hGC level should be high enough for a solid line at this point. I purchased and used the Easy at Home brand test and got a solid, super dark pregnancy test line at 4W3D with that test while these were still giving me faints. So don't worry if you end up in the same situation. Faint test lines doesn't necessarily mean a low hCG level.

I was 2 weeks late for my period and my friends begged me to take a test. I didnt want to spend a lot of money or be seen in a drugstore or any store for that matter buying a pregnancy test. I saw these were $7 and had great reviews so I bought it and received it the very next day. I missed the 1st pee but did it with my 2nd one and 2 lines lit up like wild fire LOL, PREGNANTTT. The directions said it takes 15 to 60 seconds but this happened LITERALLY in an instant dodnt have to wait. Doctor gave me a test the next week and confirmed I was indeed pregnant. So I say definitely get this test, it was fast, cheap, accurate and easy to use.The only drawback was that it didnt come with directions I had to go back to the Amazon page to see exactly how to use it correctly.
