Didn't work well for aluminum, but it is probably fine for harder metals.

I mill high carbon stainless on a grizzly g0704. On accident I ran the 5/16 endmill 0.0925" deep by .180" doc at a pretty decent feed rate. It managed the 2" cut but did remove a bit of the coating from the endmill. I cleaned off the swag left from the heavy cut, it was still sharp and continues to perform excellent. I'm very impressed.

Excellent quality coated carbide 4-flute end mill with full diameter 1/2" shank. Very solid and heavy. Not used yet, but expecting good results.

Very impressed for the money, have been throwing everything at it and it's holding up. I even had a part slip out of the vice due to the loose nut behind the wheel and I couldn't believe that the bit didn't snap. Still going strong, still sharp.
