This seemed to be working....for about 15 minutes. Managed to get five of the six speakers tested before it crapped out. Tried changing out the battery, but it continued to just flash and read out jibberish.The disk is worthless. When using one of these devices, just look in YouTube for the polarization test sound.

FUNCIONA... realmente es tan simple pero funcionaViene con los pulsos de prueba en CD y ya es raro el equipo que reproduce CD. No hay problema, en linea abundan los tonos de prueba para polaridad! O puedes "ripear" el CD orignal y tenerlo como WAV, FLAC, MP3...

This saves you from having to pry open the door panels to check polarity.If the test indicates your speaker is out of polarity, then go ahead and go through the trouble of opening the door panel and switching the connections.I had to do this on one door only, as this wonderful gadget told me one of the door speakers I installed was good. The gadget told me the other door was bad, so I went through the pain of opening that one door only, switching the connectors on the speaker (I had installed it with negative on positive and vice versa). Not having to test the polarity on the speaker wire saved me a ton of time and trouble, as praying a door is no easy fit in my van.Once I fixed the polarity on the one door that was reversed, the new door speakers came to life! The sound had been so bad, with no mid range bass, almost prompting me to buy an amp. After this fix, I don't have to, as I am satisfied with the bass now. The bass definitely went from a 2 to a 7, and that's good enough for me. Def better than the factory door speakers I replaced. As others have said, if you don't have a CD player in the car, download the files from the internet. They are widely available. I used a CD as my van is older and has a CD player.

I do not have a CD player in my vehicle, so I cannot use the CD this product came with. I also do not have a CD drive for my computer, so I have no way to play these test tones. But I did try to play this in my PS4 Pro, but it did not recognize the CD. So there is that.I really would like to let the company know that they should have a place to get the test tones besides the included CD.
