This is the first camera I ordered because it was the most recommended for beginners, and I am grateful to its easy design usage. It takes very clear pictures and has manual guides on the settings so you sort of know how to use everything without having to do much research! The lens that comes with it are very good, and this camera is indeed beginner friendly. Highly recommend

Just received my camera today. Wasn't looking for a top of the line Canon camera as I shoot with Nikon but I have friends that shoot Canon and are always asking me questions about settings so I thought I'd buy one and learn Canon settings. So it came in a regular brown cardboard box wrapped in brown paper. No camera box. Came with a dead generic battery and a battery charger that does not work. I have no idea if the camera works or not. Now I have to order new batteries and a new charger before I can test the camera. Will update when I get the new battery and charger.

The battery charger that you plug into the wall was not working, but anything other than that the camera works great.

I upgraded from Canon t6i to a t7i for a vacation to Canada. Didn’t get to use it because it wouldn’t turn on half the time. The display screen was unreliable when it did work. It was a “renewed” camera. I don’t know that I’ll buy renewed again. Since it didn’t work well, I sent it back and lost the restock fee of $150 for equipment that didn’t work in the first place.

In the few months that I’ve owned the camera it’s been awesome. The kit lens has been more than enough for most circumstances and takes great photos. Everything looked brand new when it arrived and it has performed wonderfully. Would highly recommend renewed over brand new if you’re looking for a solid camera on a budget.

This camera is awesome. I bought it originally to start making music videos, but it has turned into an all in one! Great pictures, great video quality and relatively cheap for what you get. Best camera I’ve ever used!

Excellent camera for a first time user. I do recommend going on YouTube and viewing videos on "how to use" the particular model camera. There is so much to know it can be over whelming, but knowing how to use this Canon T7i camera makes it that much better, ( many tips and tricks). Love the camera, best purchase ever.
