Unless I'm missing, something (no instructions or tips) the aperture hole is way too big (2.5x2.5 inches) for any of my lenses, especially my micro 4/3 Olympus 30mm Macro Lens. And it does not even fit well on my Nikon Classic 55 mm Micro Nikkor film lens. Guess I will send it back!

Lo utilizo para fotografía macro, ya que ayuda a iluminar el área a la que, de otra manera, la luz del flash no llegaría por la obstrucción del propio lente. Se puede guardar fácilmente en su estuche pegándolo en forma de ocho y no ocupa mucho espacio.

This flash diffuser is incredibly simple, but surprisingly effective. It's incredibly lightweight, folds up almost flat, and comes with a little carrying bag (which is necessary to keep it folded). It's not going to get you super-soft light like a huge softbox or a shoot-through umbrella but it works very well for on-camera flash work and softens light without losing much light. So far I've only used it for macro photos and I'm pleasantly pleased, particularly for the price. Harsh shadows are now nicely feathered and not distracting.I attached a photo of the diffuser mounted to my RF 100mm Macro and it is an INCREDIBLY tight fit. It's tall enough to completely cover the flash head on my LumoPro LP180. There's definitely bigger, bulkier, more expensive diffusers out there that probably produce 'better' light, but this one is really cheap and really lightweight. So far so good.

I was really hoping that this diffuser would work for me but unfortunately it is more trouble than it’s worth. I tried using it for macro photography however, I’m constantly struggling to hold it in place and it rotates whenever I rotate the lens. If I didn’t hold it and I took a shot, I would then realize that it rotated and it resulted in the photo not getting diffused. For really close up shots when I’m near flowers or shrubs, it would twist if it came in contact with the foliage. I decided to go with a diffuser that straps into my flash to avoid the hassle. Just to be clear, the product does provide diffusion and the photos are beautiful when it does. If you’re ok with holding onto it constantly then it’s not a bad product especially because of the price.

This is a very simple, easy to use diffuser that is very effective at softening the light of my flash during macro photography. It folds up to a small, flat circle that I can put in my back pocket and takes up very little room in my camera bag.

I needed a light flash defuser for an outing I am going on. One that would fit easly in my small camera bag. And this is perfect. And did a good job when I tested it at home. With one little flaw.... It dang near put my eye out when I removed it from the package. I opened the pouch. And it just exploded And worse... I don't know how to refold it with out breaking it! And now dos not fit inside my bag. Well least it did not add any more weight to the bag. Just wished it wasn't so springy...

This diffuser fits perfectly on my Olympus 90mm macro which has a diameter of 2 3/4". Any lens diameter less than that will work of course but the diffuser will not stay in place very well. It did fit on a 3" diameter lens hood but quite snug. At least that's the fit on the piece I received which might vary between samples.There's quite a bit of light loss from the flash as you might expect - 2-3 stops. So for use on cameras with a built in flash, I'd recommend boosting your ISO to at least ISO 400.It does a very good job of diffusing the light. Remember that the closer you get to your subject the softer the light will be. Tilt the diffuser forward for subjects 10" or closer to the front of the lens for the best results.Not as good as a dedicated macro flash diffuser like the AKdiffuser but for the price it's hard to beat. Works well for small pet portraits also.

The diffuser is very beneficial for softening light for macro and portrait photography. It is constructed very nicely and works better than advertised. Easy to collapse and store in the accompanied bag. I will buy again if needed or to gift another photographer!

A simple solution to the problem of harsh direct flash light on macro subjects very close to your lens. It simply stretches to fit over the front of your lens held by elastic. The diffuser does two things, it softens the light falling on the close-up item and reduces the flash to better light the subject. An ingenious solution to a macro problem by still using your flash gun attached to the hot shoe of your camera.
