I got this to play retro pie. It's terrible. There is a white ring arohnd6the whole screen. I bought this a month ago. The first one didn't work at all then I got a replacement and I opened and plugged it in and it's has this ring. Terrible.

The screen is the right size no cover so I will print one soon.The head phone jack was covered with a sticker removed it to access the jackThe base DOES NOT fit properly, the attachment screw is very loose so the monitor spins on the base, so might be the screw thread is not the right one or maybe the screw is to long, will have o ADAPT IT myself.You would think a manufacture would put all the parts together during designs and make sure they fit properly.Have not tried out the functionality yet.

This is a great monitor for watching HDMI videos from Direct TV DVR's and other sources.It does not have a battery but you can easily use a 12 volt power bank to make it portable.It's nice to be able to watch my personal AVCHD videos and Bluray movies with sound when I'm on the go..There's no case so I needed to use a Tablet case with the same physical size so protect the screen when not in use.

Obviously this is a smaller screen than say an average monitor but that is the point. It has a clear display and is very very light weight. I was wondering about the stand if it would hold the monitor on a desk/table without wanting to fall over. I can confirm it does just fine. So don't worry about the monitor stand supporting the display. It will do that with zero issues. Now if you are going to use this in a moving vehicle or on a boat I would screw it down otherwise it will probably fall over. I will also say the touch buttons (like power) are very sensitive. They almost seem to engage before you actually touch them. It is a nice display if you are looking for a smaller screen size.

Très beau et bon produit. Va me servir d'écran pour ma mini borne d'arcade... Seul (mais gros) bémol qui n'est pas mentionné dans le descriptif : prise non EU donc nécessité d'en trouver une compatible ou d'acheter un adaptateur.

While it is a little smaller than I imagined (that is my faulty imagination as it is the dimensions listed), this little monitor works well to direct display from my QNAP NAS. while I don’t envision using it often, it is nice to know I have a connected display. It is small so it is out of the way and it looks great. The image is clear and sharp for my purposes and so far works great!

Look out for trouble if you plan to use this as a vehicle Backup camera display. The control cable is NOT included in the box even though it is shown in the User Manual. Worse, Camecho does not provide a source for this cable that is required for connection to the vehicle's reverse lighting circuit. What should happen if this were designed correctly, is selection of the vehicle's reverse should apply +12VDC to the deactivated display through Brown Wire #6 and upon receiving this signal the display should illuminate along with the backup camera video feed. It is completely unknown if this unit works as described here. As is usually the case with these Chine electronics products their marketing genesis doesn't have the wherewithal to get an American technical interpreter involved in editorial correction to the descriptions and User Manual. The manual is terrible. You better know something about electronics and computers before you buy this unit. In their defense the various video inputs seem to be plug and play selectable via the MODE BUTTON.This is an addendum to my earlier review that was posted immediately after receiving the monitor. After a few days of bench-top testing, I discovered that the control buttons located near the bottom front of the monitor could be accidentally triggered by touching the underside of the frame. My guess is the manufacturer is using capacitive touch or Projected capacitive touch (PCT) technology. This leads to inadvertent selection of the wrong button. But it is not consistent probably due to sloppy printing of the touch sensitive layer. I suppose I am asking too much from an inexpensive monitor. I want to repeat the greatest concern – the user manual wiring DOES NOT match the units being delivered. AMAZON should force the seller to correct this or remove all of the products from the site until proper documentation is provided and verified by AMAZON tech staff.

Monitor ist nicht schlecht, er war für eine Fotobox . Aber das Netzteil ist nicht für unsere Steckdosen !

Ich habe dieses Produkt erworben, da ich für ein Testsystem ein kleines Display suche. Leider ist nach dem ersten Start ein deutlich störender hellgrüner Punkt im Display zu sehen, was somit ein Displayfehler ist. Dieser Fertigungsfehler verurteilt somit die minderwertige Qualität und das abschließende Prüfverfahren dieses Produkts.Ebenfalls konnte ich das mitgelieferte 230Volt/12VDC/2A nicht verwenden, da die Steckernorm in Deutschland ganz anders ist und nicht in die Steckdose passt.Ich rate von diesem Produkt deutlich ab.

I gave this product a bad review. When I received my first monitor it would not work with HDMI and the pixel description did not match the sticker on the back of the unit.. I returned it without talking to the vendor. I went ahead and ordered another one after the vendor sent me an email. I'm glad I ordered another one. It did not work with my splitter but when I plugged it in directly into the amp bypassing the spliter it worked fine. The picture is what is expected for a small monitor. It's a good picture for my needs and the speaker sounds good. I would purchase this again.
