It worked initially and lasted for about a month before failing. I guess you get what you pay for. Fortunately not a huge investment but a big pain in the butt to replace it again

I initially gave this 5 stars as it immediately got my machine running again.Sadly however, first trip to the dunes the CDI died within the first 30 minutes. No spark again. All other shop manual continuity and resistance tests for other components still pass manual specs.

Fixed misfire problem.Machine would start and begin surging. Would idle but give it throttle and it would go crazy. Put this CDI box on under front cowling and all problems are solved.

There are so many replacement units available, just make sure you buy one that is the same size physically as your old one. These units slide into a rubber mount, or sleeve.
