I'm always searching for laundry products for hard water. Charlie's soap is pretty good, then I was using the calgon liquid for a long time which has a light floral scent that didn't bother me, I just hated going through all those plastic bottles. I wish I hadn't bought this product though, it has a very strong detergent smell like toilet bowl cleaner. I see there is an unscented version in a green box. Maybe I will try that.

We used Calgon for many years in Germany and we continue to use it for our front load washer here in Colorado. We have very hard water and Calgon keeps our washing machine free of limescale.
