Good value went bought on sale, little stiff on delivery so needed to empty out some fill and was much better. Does not add much weight to the range bag protects ones elbow against the bench.

Caldwell makes good, attractive products, and this little cushion is certainly one of them. A shooter might prefer a less "puffy" cushion for the elbow, but this one is soft enough to work well in that role. It has the right amount of "give". It can also serve as a front rest if you should need a quick boost in elevation. I also use one of these bags to rest the lock of my percussion and flint rifles if I need to place them on a bench.

I got this bag to relace the terry cloth towel that I once used to alleviate the repetitive abrasion and bruising I get on my coronoid process (that bony protuberance at the bottom of the elbow). It makes a big difference in being able to prepare for an accurate shot when shooting high-recoiling rifles off the bench. But now I use it for everything, even my tack-driver .22s. I have even used it under my owl-ear bag as a rest for zeroing pistol sights. It is well made and looks like it will last for many years.
