I had been searching for a new "down" comforter and was unable to find any; at least the type I wanted which was not made of huge squares/areas of down. I came across this one; a down substitute. I loved the idea of it being machine washable; though I was not sure I would like the "design"/fluffiness of the top. When this comforter came, I fell in love with it. It does have a lovely "fluffy" top to the comforter, though very tasteful. When you take this comforter out of the box, you can tell it is going to be very warm...and it is. My two 4-footed family members also fell in love with it immediately. I would not hesitate to purchase this again.

I could cuddle in this blanket all day. It is very soft. Perfect weight. I have a king size bed and it definitely is oversized. I love that about it. It was exactly as I expected. Actually better than I expected.

If your like me searching for a blanket sleeping in the Nude. Your search is over. This is the one. I absolutely love it. Both sides are soft and cozy. It's warm but not hot. I have a queen size bed and got the full size blanket. It's more then enough.

I bought this comforter because I was heartily tired of ones that barely reached from one end to the other on of our beast of a king sized bed. They were like trying to use a handkerchief for a tablecloth. Let me explain; I am perpetually cold and achy having arthritis among other things. While I am a believer in floating lightly under the covers my husband believes in acquiring as much blanket as possible while he is sleeping. By morning I am vainly trying to cuddle under a tiny corner of the cover. No more. This luxurious baby has totally tamed our bedclothes problem! It hangs down a good 2 foot or more on either side. In addition, it's wonderfully soft, warm and fluffy and attractive too. After reading the reviews I will definitely be dry cleaning it but I'm not sorry I bought it. You won't be either.

I don't know about coma inducing but this has to be the largest, softest, squishiest comforter I have ever owned. The dogs love laying on it, so do the kids. I give it 4 instead of 5 stars because the stitching to create the checkered type pattern keeps coming off but its only affecting the look, not the integrity of the comforter so far. Haven't washed it yet, its way too big to fit in any home washing machine. We love it!
