  • Ultimate Polishing Stage: #3 Fine filtration pads remove ultra-fine particles, leaving wines aged 6–8 weeks sparkling clear. With 0.25–1 micron pores, they achieve a professional finish, ready for bottling or long-term storage.
  • Mini Jet Exclusive: Designed specifically for the Mini Jet System, these fine pads provide seamless integration and precision, ensuring reliable filtration for white and red wines nearing their final stage of preparation.
  • Sanitization and Soaking: Soak the pads in a mix of one quart of cold water, 0.75 grams of metabisulfite, and 3.5 grams of citric acid (or lemon juice substitute). Allow the pads to soak until they no longer float, ensuring they are fully saturated for precise filtration.
  • Stabilizes Wine for Aging: Removes fine particles that could lead to sediment formation over time, helping stabilize your wine and ensuring a clear appearance and consistent flavor during long-term storage or presentation.
  • Three-Filters Per Pack: Each pack includes 3 fine-grade filter pads, designed for use together in a single filtration session. Ideal for final-stage polishing, leaving your wine crystal-clear and ready for bottling.

The Mini Jet Fine/Sterile Filter Pads (#3) (0.5–1 micron) are the final step in the filtration process. These pads are designed to remove the smallest particulates. They work exclusively with the Mini Jet Wine Filter and provide the final stage of filtration, ensuring that your wine is sparkling clear and stable before bottling or storage. Which Pads to Use: After Coarse Pads (#1) and Polishing Pads (#2), use the Fine/Sterile Pads (#3) for the final filtration to achieve ultra-fine clarity. These pads ensure that your wine is completely free from any residual particles. Proper Pad Placement: Place the Fine/Sterile Pads (#3) in the last plate of the filter stack, with the rough side facing the wine. This ensures that the finest particulates are captured before the wine exits the system. Using an Electric System: The Mini Jet Wine Filter with Fine/Sterile Pads (#3) will work efficiently when placed in the correct position. Once the previous pads are removed, the filter system will run automatically, pushing the wine through the fine filter pads. Filtering Your Wine: After filtering with Coarse Pads (#1) and Polishing Pads (#2), proceed with the Fine/Sterile Pads (#3) for the last stage. This step removes any remaining fine particles and provides the final clarity and stability before bottling. Few Filtering Tips & Troubleshooting: Tip: Always allow some settling time between filter stages for best results. If your wine is too cloudy, use Coarse Pads (#1) first, then wait a few days before proceeding with the finer filters. Troubleshooting: If the wine flow slows significantly, check for excessive clogging in the pads. Fine Pads may clog more quickly with wines that still have higher sediment content.
