They work exclusively with the Mini Jet Wine Filter and provide the final stage of filtration, ensuring that your wine is sparkling clear and stable before bottling or storage. Which Pads to Use: After Coarse Pads (#1) and Polishing Pads (#2), use the Fine/Sterile Pads (#3) for the final filtration to achieve ultra-fine clarity. These pads ensure that your wine is completely free from any residual particles. Proper Pad Placement: Place the Fine/Sterile Pads (#3) in the last plate of the filter stack, with the rough side facing the wine. This ensures that the finest particulates are captured before the wine exits the system. Using an Electric System: The Mini Jet Wine Filter with Fine/Sterile Pads (#3) will work efficiently when placed in the correct position. Once the previous pads are removed, the filter system will run automatically, pushing the wine through the fine filter pads. Filtering Your Wine: After filtering with Coarse Pads (#1) and Polishing Pads (#2), proceed with the Fine/Sterile Pads (#3) for the last stage. This step removes any remaining fine particles and provides the final clarity and stability before bottling. Few Filtering Tips & Troubleshooting: Tip: Always allow some settling time between filter stages for best results. If your wine is too cloudy, use Coarse Pads (#1) first, then wait a few days before proceeding with the finer filters. Troubleshooting: If the wine flow slows significantly, check for excessive clogging in the pads. Fine Pads may clog more quickly with wines that still have higher sediment content.
