You have to take the drain apart anyway, this is too stiff to get through all drain bends. Buy a dollar store bottle brush

Looks like a useful product, however It did not fit down my drain. Measure drain holes before buying.

I've only used this once so far, but it was worth every penny just to finally get my bathroom sink drain clear and clean and no longer foul-smelling.

About the perfect length for cleaning my sink drain and overflow. My daughter loves to make slime and some went down the sink overflow last year. Wow, the overflow smells horrible. This brush did the trick! Scrubbed it out and no more smell. It is short so don't expect it to clean much past the water trap. Wish they made one with a little longer bristles to scrub the overflow better.

The best thing about this product is that it will get to drain traps. But the nylon brush is so small and so weak and so non-substantial that it can't really clean anything. I would not recommend this product. I hope the company will put a more substantial, wider three-inch brush on the end of this. Then I'd try it again. Too bad, doesn't work.

Love it! it is perfect for cleaning out bathroom drains! I was having problems with my bathroom sink drains running slower over time. Upon investigation the problem seemed to be a buildup of soap scum. This is perfect for cleaning out the soap scum, and it seems gentle enough to safely run through the U trap of the sink. For the longer sink drains I have taken apart the drain after the trap. For a short drain I have just pushed it through the trap. Both have worked well.I liked it so much, I also bought one as a gift for my father-in-law!

My home was built in 2010. This brush didn't fit any of my drains. It did fit the AC drip line, but wouldn't make the 90 degree turn. So disappointed it in this item.

Not very good for airgaps but work very well on bathroom sink drains you can clean out a bathroom sink trap by only needing to remove the pivot and drain plug. This brush is very useful.

I have a bathroom sink drain that constantly clogs up and has black goop growing in it. I had been clearing it a couple of times a year with a regular metal rotary snake. This brush does a better job of cleaning the pipe, so I can go longer between cleanings. It's also much more compact than a snake, so easier to store between uses. I just wish it were a little longer so I could clean deeper into the drain.

Before trying it, I was a little skeptical about the Brushtech Drain Brush. But my bathroom sink appeared to have a lot of gunk accumulated on the walls of the drain pipe. So I decided to give this product a go. I found that it is, just as it claims, very flexible--basically it's a long coil spring with a handle at one end and a brush at the other. After removing the sink stopper, I inserted the brush into the drain. A twist here and there and it followed the bends in the pipe till it ran out of length. Per the instructions, I ran hot water to wash the crud downstream as the brushing proceeded. The result is that the drain flows better than it has in quite a while.(My wife was even more skeptical about this product than I was. So the next time the plumber was here after I brushed out the drain, she asked him to check it. He pulled the drain apart and said it was clear.)In sum, the product is very effective in this application.
