Perfect fit on 1990 Johnson 9.9. Make sure to save the adjustment screw and the ring that holds the roller in place. if you know what your doing its a 15min fix.

I'm not sure if the old one was the root cause of my problem, but it was broken. I would be on my way across the lake, and all of a sudden a loss of propulsion. I thought it might have been a spun hub. After replacing the cam follower, I haven't experienced it anymore, but I hardly ever run my outboard. I'll find out the next time I'm trying to get back to the ramp in a hurry. I believe it was my problem though, based on the little testing I've done.

The part came quickly and fit great. Hardest part of job was getting mounting screw out and back in.
