Colors are consistent so the photos just illustrate the difference just by lighting. Photos from one side of the bed to the other.It’s very beautiful and very well made. It’s thin but that’s fine. I don’t want a thick quilt. I’d rather layer my covers than smother under a big thick quilt, but it’s just a personal preference.The thinness will make it a nice bed cover during the summer, too.The sizing is perfect. I bought the king size and fits my thick mattress + topper just fine.I don’t use pillow shams or dust ruffles. A beautiful bed cover is just what I needed.

I Love the color, pattern and the style.I do not like that all the threads come out and it looks ratty, so I have had to pull them all out.I will have to sew the edges together once I have all the threads pulled out to keep the two pieces of material together.

Beautiful handmade quilt.Just 2 layers of fabric but perfect at the end of the bed ready for a quick nap.The texture adds to its beauty.I could see two used as Beautiful drapes in a boho room.

Many thanks to you, fellow blanket seeker, as well as the seller for the opportunity to share my experience with Sambhav Quilt Hub Brown Ajrakh Kantha Quilt. I grew up with a hippie mum who loved indian textiles, so I knew this would be lightweight, like the block print bedspreads she also favored. However, I wasn't expecting this to be composed of a single sheet, printed to appear like multiple squares pieced together and then sewn to a layer beneath. it's very clever; it won't fray like the quilts of my memory, and I'm not terrified to launder it. However, if you are looking for that level of handiwork (and its encumbent fragility), you will have to seek it elsewhere, probably encounter some odd interesting odors, and likely pay much more. As for this cover, I am pleased with the color and the stitching, especially the edging--which seems like it will hold longer than those quilts of my memory--and I understand now why its so affordable. I believe this will prove easier to coordinate with and care for in the long run, so I'm not at all dissapointed, just surprised.

I absolutely love this bohemian quilt. I know a lot of people aren’t happy about it being so thin and pieced together, but that’s what makes this quilt so wonderful. It’s not made to be a thick toasty well made quilt by todays standards. It’s a bohemian covering, not made to be thick. While it isn’t true to “Kantha” quilt standards which are thin quilts made of rags, usually with an old sheet used as batting then stitched with assorted threads and stitches, it serves my purpose to add a bohemian flare to my bedroom as a drape across the foot of my bed. I don’t believe this has a sheet or anything in between the top and bottom layers, but it does provide a light covering if I want to lay across the bed for a quick afternoon nap. It washes well and I’ve not noticed any seams coming apart.

This was a lovely bedspread - unfortunately the colors and pattern didn't match my room as well as I thought they would and I had to return it. As an aside: It would be a good idea if the coloring of the bedspread in the video matched the color in the thumbnail photo but that didn't matter as far as my sale - the darker color is what I wanted and what I got.

This item took so long to arrive, I really didn’t think it was going to come. Nor was the seller communicative. If I hadn’t really needed it, I would’ve asked for my money back. The item is beautiful, but it took much longer than it should have.

Like the color however it is very thin, two sheets of fabric sewn together,little bit disappointing.Nothing quilted about it.
