Packaging is a bit difficult to remove the ribbon from, but once out it’s easy to install. For a while I was concerned that it didn’t work, so I had my mom take a look at it, turned out I didn’t have the part of the typewriter that stamps the letters up correctly, so it wasn’t hitting the ribbon. Once it was clicked into place it worked great and gives clear black letters. Before returning make sure you have the stamping part of your machine up properly, otherwise it won’t work with any ribbon you buy.

I know, in this day and age, having and using an actual typewriter is like having a dinosaur for a pet. But in my work environment, there are times when I have to use it. I was pleased to find the Brother 1030 Correctable Ribbon for Daisy Wheel Typewriter cartridges on Amazon much cheaper than what I can purchase them for in our local office supply store--when I can find them. The cartridge I have been using works just the same as others in the past. I have not had any problem with it sticking or interfering with the correction ribbon. The ribbon strikes are clear and concise. Based on my experience, I will purchase again.

I pulled my old typewriter off the shelf to see if it would still work as my mother's had broke and she wanted another one. Tape was used up so looked it up in Amazon and found one at a great price. I ordered it , it arrived within 5 days . It fit and works correctly. and My mother is very happy with the typewriter.
