WorksSurprisingly well to take out orange tones. Only drawback is the smell is strong!

It takes a little work to apply, but if you work it in, the result is a nice luster finish. note that if you use this you can't go back to store- bought polishes. you can however rebuff the finish to bring back the shine.

Always a fabulous tinted wax option! Colors are great and finish is consistent. I’ve been using Briwax for decades!

I've been buying these old Japanese chests for over 40 years, but never figured out what to do with the old, dirty finishes on them. Like so many others, shelter in place has given me time to figure things out, and restoring my Tansu was one of them. It takes LOTS of elbow grease, and lots of 000 steel wool, but this wax penetrates into the wood, and the steel wool picks up the old dirt and grime, and the Kiri wood both lightens and darkens, at the same time. The grain highlights come back out, and the softer parts of the Kiri darken. This finish highlights the little scars and grain defects, and the wood begins to have a luster that just begs to be touched, and then caressed.I work this wax into the metal fittings and lock faces, as well. Much corrosion is removed, and the metal begins to shine very softly, with a wonderful patina. I am beyond delighted with this product, and what it is doing to my old Tansu. A final polish, with nothing more than a paper towel brings out a lasting shine. I have just re-ordered this product.

I didn't want to strip and refinish or paint cabinets, but maple cabinets were a bit orangey and I wanted to update them.Cabinet with brushed nickel knob is before and bronze knob is after. It gives a nice rich luster and darkened them slightly. I was able to do a very large kitchen with just one can.It takes awhile and is a lot of elbow grease. I used steel wool to buff them. It will wear off and if something needs to be cleaned off of them with a strong cleaner, it will remove the wax, so I will need to have it on hand to refresh if that happens.Overall though, I am very happy with the results.
