Received in fairly timely manner. My disappointment is the ends are not tapered off to hammer into wood. Did not receive any instructions how to put into the wood.

These are great for pinning together leather or nylon. Ive repaired nylon straps, leather machete sheaths, put tags on dog collars, and even fixed the belt loop on a leather gun holster, these are a must have fastener for me. all you have to do is make a hole, stick the rivet in, set the rivet head on a hard surface, then use a cold chisel in the slit and smack it once or twice to begin setting the rivet then finish up with a hammer whacking them flat. Its faster and easier than stitching or two piece washers and honestly still looks pretty good. you don't have to remove old stitching to make a repair and it works with adhesives if you feel they are necessary.

Needed to replace a few rivets in an old cymbal that lost a few. These work great, used a flat head screwdriver to put apart the tabs.
