the terminals are backwards on all the batteries making them useless

Only gave it 4 stars because I don't know the life of the battery. I used my radio 3-4 times a month for ~8hrs each time and the battery life was 4 years. I have used the radio several times and I get at least 8hrs out of the battery. So for now, I give it 5 stars.

This battery is a replacement for the ICOM BP264 and works great in my IC-T70A. Although the fit and belt clip are identical to the original BP264, charging capabilities are slightly different than the original manufacturer's. Apparently I can't read the description, so I was attempting to use my IC-T70A included original ICOM BC-167SA charger to charge this battery. After 48 hours of charging the battery would get to 7.4V but would drop to 5V within just a few minutes of receive only operation. I worked with Aimtobest and they refunded me the purchase price of the battery but continued to work with me to make sure the battery was truly the problem. In order to troubleshoot the source of the problem, they sent me a BC123SE charger and base charger unit. Turns out my original charger didn't provide enough amps to charge this battery but the new charger they sent worked great and charged the battery in about 2 hours. Now that I have the correct charger, the battery reads 8.8V after charging and after about 4 hours of receive operation reads 8.1V. Aimtobest support said that they are working to improve the capabilities of the battery such that it can be charged with a lower amp charger. Hopefully that newer version will be available soon.Overall, I'm very satisfied with the battery - will likely buy another as a backup. Also Aimtobest customer service/tech support is very excellent and responded rapidly to all my questions and worked to make sure I was 100% satisfied.

I use it for a communications radio. This battery works and charges as good as the original battery that came in the radio.

new battery, these are great hold a charge for two day if you turn them off over night.great product at an amazing price .FYI this product deserves 5 stars as there a not so bright person writing reviews for the wrong product.
