All you need to know is buy it. 2003 yz250f. I have been ****ing with this carb for 7 years trying to get this bike to 1.start easly and 2. Run smooth and hard at “tip in” . My friends and I were riding Reading Famous outdoors almost every weekend and my bike ripped on the top end but always had that little bog on the low end. It affected my trail riding bad. Always looking for the cluch to save the bike from stalling on hills ect. I installed the quickshot and just wow. It literally feels like a new bike. I think i set it to 1.5 turns out and it ran so good i just left it. Starts 1st kick everytime. Have not caught a bog in over a year since this has been installed.

Nice add on to my 2008 yfz 450. Gave me better throttle response and cleared up the bog issue

No big elimination or reduction on my yfz 450. Any accelerator pump adjustment this product may offer is so nominal it hardly justifies the price

I bought a 02 wr250 that would start fairly easily, but once hot would not restart. It would flood if you looked at it wrong. I researched the hot start method for these bikes and still could not get it started. The carburetor had a number of things messed up with it, so while I was in there I installed this per the recommendation of a co-worker. After a thorough cleaning of the carburetor with an ultrasonic cleaner and replacing the float, float seat and float valve the bike starts up so easily I can't believe it. Hot start on the first kick. I set the screw 2 turns out and that seems to be perfect. No bog whatsoever.

The only reason I am giving this 4 stars, and not less, is because it is not working the way it was basically guaranteed. I have a a 2016 Yamaha YFZ 450 with Hot Cam Stage 3 mod, and the oil mod done as well. I had a major fuel issue and I finally got it tuned in other than the bog right as I give it gas on the low end. I researched the heck out what it could be and I came to this product. I also reached out to a friend who races with this exact same bike and he also recommended this part. I put it on, I made all proper recommended adjustments, and though the throttle is much sharper, but I still have the low end bog.

Awesome responsiveness i needed to clean my carb really bad but i also went with 1 size larger main jet and now 2 sizes smaller that stock pilot jet because the engine runs so clean and fuel flows so perfectly no. The Quickshot 3 adds a dialavle leak jet and my bike can now be tuned by hand without taking off anything. I DEFINITELY. Recommend this it works and looks great i might add . My accelerator pump was sooo dirty so combined with new NGK iridium plugs and the Quickshot 3 my bike is super responsive and more easily tunable for different altitudes . BOYESEN IS THE BEST

If you own a 2008,09 Honda crf250r, you know how hard and finicky they can be to start. This is hands down the best fix for that. My bike starts no more than 4 kicks. Even after a bail off. Now itll even idle smoothly without stalling.Takes a little time to get adjusted right, but the bike has never run better. Definitely worth the money. Highly recommended.
