Our daughter broke her wrist on a newly purchased hoverboard. It was not fun for any of us and we realized how important it is to get some protective gear. This protective set is easy to put on and take off, the only drawback is that you need your shoes off in order to put on the knee pads. However, that is not too much of a hassle. The set works great and is sturdy. The set fits my older kids best, 7-10 years. As with any gear that fits tight it can be a bit uncomfortable at times.

This is a really nice set of knee/elbow/wrist pads for a kid. My daughter loves them. They are sturdy, strong, stay in place, and are cute. I think they are a pretty good value as well.

I got this safety gear for my 5 year old. Fits her well but kind of a pain to get the knee pads on since you have to put your whole leg through. Maybe that’s how all knee pads are. This is our first set of safety gear! Colors are pretty!

Got these for my 8 year old. We go roller skating a lot and she has a couple hoverboards. These are great. They are cute and too bulky. Her only complaint is the back of her knees sweating, other than that they are comfortable.

My daughter is over the moon with this safety set. She is nine years old, but very petite. So seeing that this could also be used for toddlers, I knew this was the set for us. The pattern on it is so pretty. It comes in a mesh carrying case which I appreciate for storage and travel. The elbows and knees fit a little bit, but like I said, she is petite. We did get the small size. but at least we know we will grow into these. The wrist guards fit really well. I do feel like she is much safer using these and I am happy to allow that. Now she can rollerskate to her hearts content.

These are extremely durable and comfy for my 4yr old. The only downside is that the wrist pads are pretty bulky - her hand looks so tiny in them and she has a hard time bending her fingers to grab her handle bars. However, I imagine she'll grow into them (as this set will last a pretty long time). I also think they would be fine if she was roller skating and didn't need to actually need to use her hands - they would definitely protect her palms in a fall seeing as how almost all kids tend to catch themselves on their hands. Overall, very confident in these!

My daughter is a very tiny 6 YO (only about 35 lbs and 42” tall). The small set of elbow and knee pads both seem to run really big. Even when she has a sweatshirt on, I have to adhere the velcro quite tightly for the elbow pads to stay in place. The elbow pads are very similar in size to the knee pads, so much so that I need to read the tag to see which is which. The wrist guards have been much too cumbersome and uncomfortable for her to wear. However, the set does seem protective and decently made. The mesh bag is also very handy. It works for us because gives our daughter confidence and peace of mind when riding her bike and scooter.

These are very good quality, offering plenty of protection from falls and abrasions. The coloring looks cool, and my son is happy to wear them. I ordered size small for him, and he is at the high end of the age range. He is 9, but built like a long, skinny stick. He easily fit within the measurement ranges they provide. These did fit, but the knee pads left red marks behind his legs because the elastic was so tight. I don't know how much larger the other size would be, but small was really too small for him. They do fit, but there is no way to make them comfortable for more than a few minutes use at a time. Fit aside, these are well constructed, and provide nice protection for the hands, knees, and elbows that are commonly injured at this age. I didn't find any instructions, but I may have misplaced them and these were very intuitive to use. I will confess that I never did figure out which pads were for the knees and which were for the elbows, but they looked the same size to me so I guess it doesn't really matter.
