It did - eventually - manage to drill two holes through OSB. Which was all I needed. They weren't pretty, it wasn't fast, and I will buy a different brand next time.

I likely bought the wrong type of hole saw for my mini-split install. With only 4-6 teeth, this saw hangs up and jams a lot. My solution which oddly worked, was to run it backwards. Took longer, but it had no issue cutting through wood, vinyl siding or drywall.

I needed to put a 2" hole in my new raised screen porch TREX floor so I could get a hose in. This fit my impact driver which is rare. I was a little worried from the review that said it torqued the drill violently, but I found it cut the TREX easily (two holes--a test on a spare board and one for real. No abnormal torquing if you keep you drill at 90 degrees. A good product at a cheap price.

I purchased a box of new lever-handled door latches claiming to be "standard' fit. I had to ream out the large hold for the mechanism to fit. It was 1/8" too small. I was not about to use a file... In the end, it would have been easier had I purchase the 2 1/8" cutter.

I opted for BOSCH brand. I got a good price, but have been happy that I went with the BOSCH set over other options. I'll probably have these for the rest of my life.

Soft wood or dry wall only!I did not realize this was a wood only hole saw when it was purchased. I used one of the included saws blades on a metal shed and the results were a very dull saw blade. It was very fast to dull and had made only cosmetic scratches on the shed.Learn from my mistake, don't use on metal.....For the remaining saws that were not damaged by me...When using them on wood, they were a bit catchy. I had to make sure to use very light pressure so the saw did not catch on the wood as I was drilling. My biggest issue was the blade depth. The blade is not large enough to drill through a 2x4. The only way I was able to drill all the way through was to drill from one side as much as the blade would allow, than move to the other side of the 2x4. Not ideal if the material you are working on can't be accessed from the back side such as in 2x4 in a wall.I also had an issue with the blades staying in place. The set screw becomes loose very easily as its spinning reducing pressure on the saw and eventually falling apart if unchecked for too long.

Bought it for a build I was doing but what I specifically needed this for got changed so this is just being added to my arsenal.For the purpose of this review since I'm not using as I intended I drilled a couple holes in a scrap piece of 1/2" plywood, it cut a nice clean hole fairly quick. It then cooked a whole hog and made me some pulled pork sandwiches, they were delicious, I'm not sure what the secret ingredient in the sauce is but it's some of the best I've ever tried.

Had to install a deadbolt lock on my door. I read the reviews that said it was basically only for light jobs. I figured i'd give it a try anyhow. I was amazed at how easily it bored a hole through in the door. Halfway through it stopped boring the hole because the door was so thick. I broke the piece off inside the hole and finished the hole and installed the lock. I really didn't have any problems. The only thing I could say is to make sure you have a good and powerful drill when you use this and you shouldn't have any problems making holes on wood.
