Borla is the ONLY company that makes a catback exhaust for my 2011 Impreza 2.5 Hatchback. I ordered it expecting we would have to make modifications for fit. The product fit perfectly and installation took less than 30 min - most of that was cutting out the original exhaust system.Highly Recommended!

2010 SUBARU SPORT HATCHBACKFITMENT: direct bolt on but you need to buy a new flange where it connects to cat piping.Sound: too much drone at 1-2.5k rpm so i ended up buying a VIBRANT 2.25 ultra quiet stainless steel resonator. ALL DRONE GONE but rumbly sound at cold start isnt as loud :(Drive:I noticed an increase/fuel efficient MPG and gained power at the high end, loss some power at low end.Car has a better throttle response and I am so glad to have replaced the stock exhaust system.Weight:Borla catback is about 40lbs lighter than stock and 3 times smaller in size (muffler)

Relatively easy to install and sounds deep and slightly raspy with pops on the way down. Noticed a slight increase in throttle response and it is much lighter than the stock pipe.Installed on a 2010 Subaru 2.5i premium 5-door

This exhaust is great! Nice beefy growl on cold-start and a deeper tone through all gears. This is the 1st install I've done to my new car and it couldn't have been an easier upgrade. With zero car knowledge, the job was done by 2 people in 1.5 hours. The 4" tip is a great aesthetic appeal in my opinion as well. It fills the bumper cutout so much nicer than the stock exhaust! Great purchase, especially while it's 12% cheaper than the manufacturer!

Really easy to install sounds pretty good not as loud as i thought but still a nice rumble. Make sure to buy longer flange bolts the stock ones are to short! Found some at napa for 10 bucks.

Looks good, sounds good, easy to install. Just 2 bolts (re-use stock) and the rest of it slides together. One of the ends was slightly out of round and had to be reshaped a little but otherwise piece of cake. People give me crap about the size of the exhaust tip but it is the same width as stock and only about 1.5 inch taller.

Even though the price was half of the Subaru muffler, it's not as good as adeal as you might think. No resonator which could mess up the exhaust scavenging and wow is this thing noisy. Noisy like it whistle's, not raspy like say the 06 factory wrx exhaust. Put one of these on and you'll feel like you're driving your 16 year olds tricked out chevette.

I picked this exhaust based mainly on aesthetics because I did not want to go with a 'fart canon' style exhaust or have the 'fart canon' sound.From the outside this exhaust sounds great. It has a nice throaty exhaust note and it pops and gurgles on the way down. I believe this is due to the fact that this exhaust deletes the stock resonator from the system. Inside the cabin the exhaust still sounds pretty good but not nearly as nice compared to the outside. My only complaint is that there is a bit of a drone on the highway. I am considering lining the back of my hatch with sound deadener to keep the drone down.I would also prefer a slightly smaller tip but it does fill the bumper cutout very nicely.[...]Above is a video just after installation.
